The Main Things About Traffic Rules

Here I am stating the traffic signals because some people follow traffic rules and others they don’t follow especially in a city outside and where they are no cameras. Following the traffic rules and signals help to prevent road accidents and hitting pedestrians. And also helps in the reduction of traffic flow at huge junctions and busy areas so that it is more efficient. My personal opinion is that if you ignore the traffic rules and lights and die, there’s no problem with anybody hurts except your family and friends. By following the traffic signals helps to move all the vehicles at a fixed speed away. According to the Statistical report of the Australian government, there was a total of 97 road deaths during August 20191. Following the rules should make it safer for everyone. The local government has to take action when they are giving the driving license. They must follow the strict rules while conducting the test for the license. Finally obeying the traffic rules and signals reduce the incidence of traffic accidents and their severity. Following the traffic rules and signals helps to live a better life without hurting others and ourselves.

Speed Cameras

The installation of the speed cameras will help people to move the vehicle at a certain speed on the same road without any accidents. It helps to maintain the speed limit and also to reduce the traffic on busy roads. The main advantage of this speed camera is to reduce the stress responsibility of the driver. If suppose it was a busy area if no camera everyone will try to faster than others to reach their house/ office/ other stores there were chances of hitting/ crashers to each other. If they notice the camera, they will maintain the speed limit and chances in reducing road accidents. The government must ensure of functioning of the camera and if they exceed the speed, they should send the warning letter and fine with it. If they repeat, they have to take severe actions like suspending the license for months or possibly cancelling the license. While they at the driving test the police should give the speed awareness courses and fine instructions. The sustain education efforts by parents, friends, and authorities will help the owner/ driver to fully focus on driving. The local government and authorities have to take charge if they would not obey the rules and has to take charge in accordance to the severity. The power has to change in all sectors to follow the rules and regulations by the public.

Vehicle Condition

• Seat Belt - Every vehicle must be designed with the seat belt which will helpful for the passengers and drivers to be safe. The driver and the passengers are always should wear the seat belt while they in the vehicle even though the vehicle in movement or not. Sometimes too young one will travel in the car, but the seat belt may not fit them. At that time, we should not leave them without a seat belt they have to be seated in appropriate child seater. Should ensure the seatbelt was properly adjusted and its working conditions.
• Wiper Condition - In many countries the weather conditions were unpredictable. It also plays an important role in the safe journey of driver and passenger. It helps in cleaning the windshield which helps to see the clearly during heavy rainfall and storms.
• Local Maps & Radio’s - Local maps help to reach the destination easily. The radio will help to know the road constructions, blockings of roads and detour of the journeys.
• Airbags - It can save lives and to prevent severe injury. However, when an accident was met the within seconds it will activate and help from head injuries.
• First-aid Kits - Maintaining first-aid kits in the vehicle will help during the emergency conditions to the driver and passengers.

Driving Without Care and Attention

Driving without care and attention will cause severe damage to his/her life. Attentive driving is a primary role in driving. Driving without care and attention will lead to many accidents and deaths also. For example, nowadays they are many delivery drivers’ jobs and commercial vehicle drivers, the driver has to deliver the order within time. So, he will be planning to deliver the order soon, where he will focus only on time. Sometimes drivers may not concentrate on other things like following the rules, over-speed all might happened. On the other, most of them like to be in the office on time. Yet traffic won’t let them to reach their office time. So, they neglect in following the rules and regulations. In other cases, the lack of attention by drivers also causes injuries and accidents. Like taking photos, reading/texting and using the apps in mobile phones, arguing with the passengers and fatigue. All these are some examples of less attention and care during driving. 

This will lead to major changes in the accident because he has to focus on driving and on phone both might be chances in a clashing. So, whenever this situation has happened the police have to grant fine and educate them about the rules by awareness by taking classes twice a month. The local government has to take action in developing new regulations like alert signs (prohibition of mobile use while driving, dangerous curves and insufficient signals device) and also signboards like follow the rules and regulations. All these help to control road accidents and attentive driving.

Conclusion

The local government has to implement and deliver the alert signs, rules, and regulations to the public through programs, education, and awareness about the road accidents and should follow the rules if they don’t have to be fined/ punished/ jail/ taking the severe actions against the person. Developing a habit of following traffic rules will result in less risk of injuries and death collisons.
