The Moral Of The Tragedy Of Julius Caesar

Hate can cause many problems, in the play “Julius Caesar” a tragedy takes place when Caesar's friend Brutus becomes jealous of Caesar's power, which leaves us with the thesis “Can the moral relate to our decade?” In our decade, we can relate with the moral of the play by comparing ambition and jealousy between countries. After reading the play, we can make an assertion about the moral the play gives us, and compare it to society nowadays stating “Hate between countries should stop”; if we dissect the play another assertion can be made stating “Brutus hate had no need of brutal actions”. And for our final assertion “Things are better when supported”. After making this assertions we can have an idea of how the moral of “Julius Caesar” relates to our decade of time. Lately there have been so many arguments between countries leading closer to another World War. In the play “Julius Caesar”, Caesar's friend (Brutus) gets jealous of Caesar's power and kills him, this can be compared to all of those wars going on around the world between countries, leader of nations hating on each other and fighting for power, and not coming together to make peace in the world.

Brutus’s behavior lead to death, Brutus and Caesar were close friend until jealousy grew between them two, Brutus was the type of person to care about what others thought about him, and because of that he wanted to be seen better by everyone around and the only thing that came to his mind was killing Caesar and taking over his power, this is an example of a big death count around the world, people going in depression because of bullying, social media, and themselves caring about it, if we just focused on ourselves personally instead of caring about what others think about us, depression and mental problems would go away. Supporting one another can make things easier; if Brutus would of supported Caesars power instead of growing hate towards him, many people and fights wouldn’t have happened, just like in our society if every nation supported each other instead of fighting for power, peace in the world would be a thing and way less problems would be happening around the world. In conclusion, after looking at all the assertion we can support the claim that the moral of the play “Julius Caesar” relates to our society in many ways, and we should all take something from the moral and use it in the real world.
