The Terrible Events Of The Tragedy Of September 11
To start off with the project I did my project on is the terrible tragedy of 9/11. Also known as 09/11/01. I will try to do so many things on this project. Such as who started all of this stuff. Also what happened in great detail. After that, I will put it when it happened. Most likely in exact time. Warning (I Could only find a few times on the attacks.) As well as where the attacks were. I will try to explain why but I still don’t know why someone would. As you and I know this is a fallen world we live in. But I will try to do my best to talk about it. I will also talk about what I think about all of this. Last but not least I will give interviews to a couple of people in my family since I wasn’t alive during that time. I hope you like it.
Here is what I think. I think that all of that was terrible. I cry every time I talk about 9/11. Or at least most of the time. I feel bad for all the people who lost their families. I feel bad for all the firefighters who lost their lives. As well as the people who were in the towers and plains. As well as the army men and women who are probably still fighting. Well, those are my thoughts on this project. Now onto the people who did this tragedy.
19 militants associated with an Islamic Extremist group called al-Qaeda. By the way, al-Qaeda means THE BASE. The al-Qaeda is basically a terrorist group. The group was founded by Osama Bin Laden around the 1980s. Osama Bin Laden was killed by American Soldiers on May 1, 2011. People believe that he was the reason of many terror attacks in his life. I honestly believe that’s true in my opinion. Before he died he’s been on the FBI’s most wanted for over a decade.
Four planes hit down on the ground and in towers on the day of 09/11/01. About 3000 people were killed including the 19 terrorists. Approximately 2996 people died that day and probably a few days after from all the smoke and burns from the fire that the planes caused. There were hundreds of firefighters trapped in the towers from trying to save people from the disaster. Hundreds of more firefighters were on their way. They were racing to risk their lives. Sadly they did risk their lives because 343 firefighters died saving people's lives or taking the fire out.
This all happened on 9/11 as most people know. The first plane was hit the North Tower of the world trade center. That plane was called flight 11 with 92 men, women, and children. The plane was at a speed of 470 miles per hour (MPH). The plane hit at exactly 8:46 A.M. The second plane hit in the South Tower of the world trade center. The flight was called 175 with 64 men, women, and children. The plane was going at a speed of 690 miles per hour. The exact time was 9:03. The third plane was the outside of Washington D.C. Good thing it didn’t hit inside of the state. I couldn’t find the exact time. The fourth plane hit inside of a field in Pennsylvania. I also could not find an exact time for this one as well as the last one.
The first person I interviewed was my mother. She was only 12 13 or 14. She said that she was in the seventh grade. She said that she was in her first hour or second hour. Her class had a television set in their classroom. Then she heard it in their class. People were crying she was probably crying as well. Her teacher was shocked. I know people think that things like that don’t happen in many places. But that proved many, many, many people wrong. That’s only what I think I don’t know about you but I think that history could repeat itself. But these days we have a ton of security in our country. But at the same time people are smart and could probably get through it. They have pat-downs and many other things that they could do to get you down. People should be smart to bring that stuff to the airport. My dad said that he was at work he was about 15 or so probably 16 at least or most.
Well, anyways he was at work than he somehow heard that the planes hit. I believe many people just thought it was an accident when the first plane hit. But they were also wrong at that one too. I honestly do not remember what else my dad said but as i bring it up today he gets mad at me and said it’s a sad day for almost anyone. If someone thinks it’s a joke then they have a sad and black heart I could name a couple of people who think like that. They probably need a little bit of praying for but that’s what I think. I only had time to get a few people to interview. It makes me sad that sad people had to kill people. They believe that they would go to heaven for killing themselves and many many many other people. I also think it is really really sad that people had to call home and tell their families BYE. That is what my project is about I hope you like it. I saw a video a couple of years ago and it was about a girl who was going to school and she made her dad late.
The girl was in high school by the way. She made her dad late to work. He worked at the south building of the world trade center. He said when he got there there was fire everywhere in the video. Then the girl said every anniversary of 9/11 he calls and says thanks for being a brat. With you being a brat on that day in high school for making me late you saved my life. I guess sometimes you could be a brat to save someone's life. I am so glad that that man didn’t have to tell his family bye. That is the end of my essay thanks for reading and I hope you liked it.
