The Unfriendly Relationships Between Iran And The United States

The United States and Iran have not been on friendly footing for many years. The problem between them date back to the over throw of Mossadeq in 1953. The united staes has been keeping an eye on Iran ever since then the united staes made itself a threat in the eyes of iraian freedom fighter, the Iranian government and its people. Their have been hostage sistutaions and killings, which made the nuclear deal add onto the ongoing bad relationship between the two countrys/states. The tacticces that are being used can be related to a prenvetive war as well because the United States sees Iran as a large threat to them if they attain nuclear weapons due to the fact that nuclear weapons are what set coutnrys apart in the viewing of power.

The nuclear deal also know as the joint comprehensive plan of action is a deal made by the United States, UK, France, China, Russia, and Germany to keep an eye on Iran with its nuclear ideals. The deal has put Iran under the foot of the other countries involved due to the amount of regulations, and allegations.

At the time of the settlement, the government of then U. S. President Barack Obama expressed confidence that the JCPOA would stop Iran from developing a secret nuclear program. Iran had committed itself to 'extraordinary and robust monitoring, verification and inspection. Inspectors from the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA) monitor the nuclear sites of Iran on an ongoing basis and also verify that no fissile material is secretly moved to a secret site to build a bomb. Iran has agreed to adopt the Additional Protocol to its IAEA Safeguards Agreement, allowing inspectors to enter any location in the state they find to be suspicious.

It has been said by Iranian government that they do not have any militaristic plans when it comes to the use of unraiam. Iran also dosent have the correct amount to produce the inrichment levels needed to make a nuclear weapon. Due to the new deal Iran has lost up to 98% of its urianium stockpile. As time went on Iran has gone over it limit set by the JCPOA.

The CIA has said they gained over a thousand of pages of data from a source saying that Iran altered the Shahab-3 missile's nose cone to hold a nuclear warhead. The IAEA found that Iran had secret plans for a more sophisticated P-2 centrifuge and a report describing its inspectors ' casting of uranium. Such documents were dismissed as forgeries by the Iranian goverment. The IAEA called on Iran to be more responsive and to answer all questions posed by the Agency about the source of its centrifuge technology. Iran revised its previous declaration and stated that it had importedP-1 centrifuges clandestinely through a foreign intermediary in 1987. Iran also recognized for the first time that P-2 centrifuge drawings had been imported in 1994. The Agency found that traces of highly enriched uranium (HEU) on Iranian centrifuge equipment most likely originated from a foreign intermediary since they did not match any samples from the declared inventory of Iran. ⠀

Currnetly the United States has left the JCOPA due to the limits being over steped by Iran. Due to this the United States has put scation on the country and any company that deals with them. The current president Donald Trump has said on many accounts that under trump Iran will never obtain a nuclear weapon. He proclaimed the agreement to be 'defective at its heart,' citing Iranian support for terrorism and the development of ballistic missiles, as well as Israeli intelligence reports on Iran's earlier nuclear activities, as justifying the withdrawal of the United States. He did not mention any specific JCPOA violations by Iran.

But the reasoning of them breaking the regilation is because Iran has confirmed that it is willing to go back to the agreement if it receives the necessary economic benefits. The reason for this is because the United States has made it harder and harder for Iran to use the urain to benfit their country. It is also trying to gain the attion of the other members of the JCOPA to give them the rights they were promised by them.

Overall the United States and Iran have been on shakey footing before the nuclear deal but due to the nuclear deal the United States and Iran have dug themsleves deeper in an unfridly hole between the two. All in all the relationship between the two coutries has gotten worse rather than better.
