The Use Of Swearing Words In Different Situations
Swearing is an offensive language like cursing, vulgar language, abusive, disrespect and insulting someone badly. Swearing is represented as a negative taboo language. Swearing words do hurt people emotions and feeling. Using the right word matter a lot in the public and society. Many teenagers are being addicted to using curse words. It becomes controversial when children around us think it is okay to use words like taboo and swearing. As we know swearing is not publicly acceptable in the right manner. Using the right words will always matter in all kinds of situations.
Words do matter against whom you are using it. When somebody is with his or her best friend, some peoples think it is okay to use swear words. They think swearing words are also used for joking and storytelling with a best friend. The best friend is that they have known each other since childhood. They don’t take it as an offense because they have a really strong bond that always helps peoples to understand that someone using swear words are only for joking and it should not be taken personally. If somehow it gets more personal then apologize and move forward. Then that person will wait for his or her turn. They would also use swear word against them and then apologize. Eventually, it will become the same routine. Swear words will somehow affect anyone even in humor. Any person will feel hurt and think why he or she uses this word against us. Yes, basically using the right words means you are not intending on being offensive to someone. You should always behave properly in the front of your elder, respect them and be kind to them. Using the right words can build a strong relationship with friends, family, and relatives. I have seen many children abuse and curse because they are frustrate or they don’t know how to deal with that situation and then their parent gets worried about them. Cursing will not help them to stay calm and be positive. If people learn a swearing word he or she would definitely able to speak at any time because they become more addicted to it and they will curse in every sentence they speak. There will be no control over the words what they speak. Cursing frequently is not the right situation at jobs. At jobs, they need peoples who use right words because they want to a make a good impression and how you speak can have a greater impact on others.
Swearing word is being used on social media and television, which I think it should not be allowed because young children can learn everything from reading and listening. They are so active and catch onto things very quickly. They do not learn from their parent but mainly from the outside. Parent don’t want their child to learn to curse. When children curse publicly, people around them eventually think that their parents are teaching this stuff to them and ruin their parent impression in the society. Many TV shows and films use the curse words in their dialogues. Some parent doesn’t allow to hear swear words because they want to protect their children so they don’t learn and start cursing. TV shows and Film intent is to make peoples watch and get more views so they can become popular and can make a good amount of money. They don’t care about the children are learning the curse words. Children always remember dialogues what they see and learn and they will try to do mimicry.
Cultural background can make a big difference because you can’t talk about people from different cultural backgrounds, race, and gender. You will meet different people around the world with different religion, different background, and different abilities. As we know, swearing can be recognized as bad in society and disrespectful. It gives a bad impression, makes you unpleasant in someone's eye, it offends more peoples than you think and it can lead to violence. It also can be negatively associated with others getting emotionally hurt. Everyone has own way of understanding words and his or her meaning. Swearing can appear with positive aspect but can lead to negative outcomes. Many people who mocked, harassed, and criticized women are shameless because they should respect each and every woman whom they see every day. Women should feel safe and protected herself whenever they go anywhere or they are living alone in apartments or houses. Women's also need more freedom and wants to enjoy their personal time. Whenever they are in trouble or when you see someone forcing women for something that she is not ready at that time, as good citizens we should help her and secure her. In recent time, when we watch the news channel there is always the cases of women getting sexual assault which should stop. Many people also joke about rape. Rape is a very sensitive topic to joke on directly. The rape joke is very controversial because many women went through this situation. This is something that women affect both mentally and physically. Women that have been raped are left with difficult and painful emotions. Women experience so much of traumatizes that they can’t forget how they went through this bad phase and that can last in their lifetime. Making jokes about rape is pointless and that does not help women to go back and fix the problem which they went through very severely. In the podcast “Words You Can’t Say” “it would be hilarious if she were gang-raped right there in the club. ” This quote basically says that women's getting rap and victimizes while they are alone on the streets at night. There are many men who think they can do whatever with women. In many cases, women’s are being kidnaped and sexual assault by the group of people after then women get victimized and they drop women somewhere else. Young girls are also get attacked with acid by criminals. There are many sex trade industry in which young girls and their kidney are sold. Women need freedom and this type of criminals should get punishments or get hang in order to give justices to women who have suffered a lot of pain. When it comes to using the right word at a proper time and place which really matter a lot. People who say the wrong thing might suffer the consequence. Posting inappropriate things on social media that you think is right and you think people will get entertain but others might disagree and take it offense. You can’t even curse randomly at people. People will think that you are psycho and this also can become a big deal and they can report you to the cops and also may that person can faces consequence. According to Jezebel, “In a way, comedy is censoring yourself comedy is picking the right words to say to make people laugh”. There are two types of comedy which are the vulgar comedy and non-vulgar comedy. You can use any type of language and words in vulgar comedy. In non-vulgar comedy, they have the restriction not to use the curse word so their show can be watched by any person from child to grandparent. To make people laugh is not easy things to do without using any taboo language and keep in mind that your audience should get entertain without hurting their feeling.
In conclusion, using the right word matter a lot. It dignified us what type of language and words we use to talk with others. People are judgmental about how the person speaks with another person. The words we use and how we use them extremely matter because it shows the way how we perceive to the peoples.
