Being a Muslim, we believe in the existence and oneness of Allah Almighty who creates the whole universe. There are a lot of evidences for everyone who wants to believe in the existence of God. Following are some points which gives the proofs for the existence of God:

Fitrah Arguments

Fitrah is the first proof for the existence of God. The fitrah is the innate disposition in human beings that have an affinity or conception for good and the existence and oneness of God. Before everything, a person believes in himself. Man is a believer by fitrah. Human nature is much like a clean mirror which reflects everything in front of it. Allah (SWT) created every person with his fitrah. Some do good deeds and some do bad, but everyone knows that what is he doing. Is it a good thing or bad? Fitrah belongs to the nature of soul which is the intrinsic nature in humans which guides about wrong and right deeds.

Dr. Justin Barrett, a senior analyst at the University of Oxford's Center for Anthropology and Mind, guarantees that youngsters have an inclination to have confidence in a preeminent being on account of they expect that everything on the planet was made with a reason. He says that young children have faith even when they have not been taught about it by family or at school, and contends that even those raised alone on a desert island would come to have faith in God.

The researchers said their findings support the idea that the brain has evolved to be sensitive to any form of belief that improves the chances of survival, which could explain why a belief in God and the supernatural became so widespread in human evolutionary history. Prophet Muhammad (P.B.U.H) said: “Every child is born in a state of Fitrah (pure innocence); it is the parent that will make him to be a Jew or a Christian or a Pagan (Majusi).”

Design and Designer Argument

Everything in the universe did not come into being by chance. The management and placement of all the things around us reflects the designer and his design. All the living things and non-living things have specific designs which indicate its designer. Here the question is who is the designer? Is it a human being? Or any other creature? All the aspects only leads towards the greatest personality “Allah (SWT)”. Except Allah Almighty, no one could create this huge universe and manage everything in the discipline.

Here is the other aspect that if there are more than one designers then they should be independent in their domain and each of them wants to show and prove his existence. And if they were different in their existence, their attributes would be different. In this case the harmony of the world could be distributed. They may manipulate each other domains. Everything in the natural world seems to be put together in a right manner suggests that an intelligent designer is responsible for its creation. The anthropic principle says that of course we will find ourselves observing a universe that is fine-tuned for life. As explained in the Holy Quran that:“He for whom is the kingdom of heavens and earth and He has not taken a son for Himself and He has no partner in His kingdom, and after creating everything, He has ordained it on a right estimate.”

When I look at wonderful forms of life around, I value their magnificence and their plan. Advancement is sensible and in view of some strong proof. Religious Phenomenon and Observations

Islam is not a new religion but it is the extension and completion of previous divine religions. Existence of Allah is solid in terms of its rational foundations as well as the purpose, meaning, comfort, and guidance that it gives to our lives. There is an authentic, sound purpose and meaning of this universe. Hence, the early scholars of Islam defined knowledge of God not as a collection of facts and arguments, but rather as a light within the heart. The “light” of the knowledge of God is found in the guidance, spiritual direction and the sense of peace that one can attain by practicing Islam. The greatest proof for the existence and lordship of Allah is discovered in the innate experiences of the heart. These experiences help to find comfort, inner-peace, moral education and meaning in the life of believers which are the spiritual fruits of a true religion.

In Christianity, Judaism, Hinduism, Sikhism and Zoroastrians, the concept of oneness of God is prevailing with minute differences. They have many other gods but deep inside they believe in one single God. That is why they ask help from the Lord of lords, even the atheist seek help of God in time of crisis. Even in the ancient civilizations, the belief in One God existed.

Later, they turned to polytheism (belief in more than one God). But the concept of monotheism (belief in one God) was there in one or another form. In Quran, the Oneness of God is declared in Surah Ikhlas. The stories and events of Prophet Adam and Eve, Prophet Moses, Prophet Ibrahim, Prophet Yaqoob, Prophet Yusuf and Prophet Essa (Jesus) (Peace Be upon Them) are commonly discussed in almost every religion. Although, there are differences in the revelations and sequence of events but the divine message is same.

Allah has created His creatures to worship Him only. We, the humans and another creature known as Jinn are also mentioned in Quran with the purpose of their creation that is to worship Him alone. The script of the Quran does not contain anything that is impossible according to rational thinking or that would be rejected by any reason. Also, there isn’t any argument that contradicts the reason or any analogy based on rational thinking. Whereas the proponents of falsehood never presented any analogy to support their ideology but the Quran refuted it on the basis of truthful and clear argument.

My Opinion

According to my opinion, Design and Designer Argument is the strongest one because no one could think that anything design without a designer. There are many examples such that well-disciplined behavior of sun, moon and other planets. Everything in universe is in its regular pattern. By seeing these unique things, a person could not stop himself in finding that who is arranging and managing all these things. Thus he thinks that there is something who creates this and runs this in a very great way. Every person is different from other in shape, in fingerprints and many other things. There are a lot of people in the world but no one is exactly similar to other.

Such these things enables us to think about that there is a God, and the only God is Allah Almighty. The Holy Qur’an points to this undoubted truth and shining reality in many verses, such as the following: “God is He Who raised up the heavens without pillars you can see, He subjected the sun and the moon each one running to a term stated; He directs the affair; He distinguishes the signs; haply you will have faith in the encounter with your Lord.” “Being a Muslim, we believe in the existence and oneness of Allah and there are a lot of examples which proves this.”
