Why Boxing Is Great

Firstly I believe that every participant of the sport play because of the love they have towards it. Boxers are different breed from other athletes. Boxing is a significant figure for many inspiring boxers it drills the importance of respect and discipline.

Boxing is like a lifeline for many struggling youths It kills off violence across the globe and gives young boxers the chance to express their abilities. many of the worlds wealthiest boxers have a came from a life of violence and poverty some inspiring stories come from top names such as current world heavyweight champion Anthony Joshua, Floyd Mayweather and Dillian Whyte. Despite all these boxers having touching life stories I personally showed sympathy towards the great Mike Tyson. The Ex world heavyweight champion has had a tough upbringing his father walked out on the family leaving them in a hole of finical difficulties. Mike was an early target of bullying and due to this turned to a life of violence by joining a local gang called the ‘Jolly stompers’ based in Brownsville, Brooklyn (an area was known for its high crime rates).

By the age of 13, he had been arrested 30 times and even held a man gunpoint during a robbery. due to his horrendous behavior he was sent to Tyron school for boys from here he met the school counselor an ex amateur boxer who managed to save his life by encouraging better efforts in class and introduced him to the beloved sport. Mike Tyson’s compelling story can show how boxing saved his life. It is clear that without boxing mike would have fallen into the trap and would have been consumed in a life of crime. I believe that boxing shouldn’t be banned, as the sport gives athletes the chance to express their abilities. Furthermore, boxing is proven by many experts that it in fact helps to reduce mental health problems. Training with a partner or in a team that all share the same desire will definitely increase your self-confidence and motivation. If you may be stressed out, boxing is a great stress reliever and is highly recommended by many professionals.

According to the WorldHealthOrganization. com, every one in four people are affected by mental health disorders. This add up to roughly 450 million people worldwide. Boxing is said to be a high benefit for mental health. As you are able to relieve stress and let out your emotions. If you are lately feeling depressed and stressed, boxing is a great way to learn about yourself. As you are constantly receiving a better indication of who you are.

An article written by Bridget March on Hapersbazaar. com that: “Boxing requires you to fully concentrate on the task at hand. You need to be able to to switch off from the outside world and be 100% focused. Being able to avert daily stress can help you to truly take time out, giving you a fresh perspective to better deal with problems. ” Everything stayed by Bridget March is agreeable. I can completely understand that boxing is very worthwhile when battling against life’s hardest lows. Therefore boxing can reduce mental health problems meaning a better life.
