Equality for All: Addressing Gender Bias in Contemporary Africa
Gender equality is not both men and women are given the same opportunity to operate in our society or country. This is the opposite of inequality in gender. My gender equality argumentative essay will be talking about some factors that show how important gender equality in the African society. Four of them will be mentioned.
To start, African Communities are like subsets of the country. This means the Constitution of the country should be implemented everywhere in that geography. This means that gender equality is important because they are laws on every citizen's right in the constitutions. This shows clearly that society or communities are still governed by the country's laws making it necessary to create the atmosphere of a policy to avoid the punishment that come with these laws when they are violated. In my views such laws will intestate succession law 1985 protects the inheritance rights will need to be educated and spread massively. Though it will take time to be adhered to, it is an important factor to achieve gender equality at the grassroots level. In summary, the citizenship rights in the constitution can help solve the issues if there's gender inequality in our societies.
Another important factor is how it brings about completeness in development. A county or society with humans are expected and somewhat obligated to develop. Relating to gender equality it is through this that imperative development will be realised. This is because every gender get the same opportunity to do their best irrespective of their abilities and capabilities. In actual sense most African societies are lacking this initiative and it is not being addressed because we are blinded by gender myths and stereotypes. A practical example as if women are given the same opportunities as men have when it comes to decision-making on society's development thus,at home, social groups, etc, opinions and views increase. This eventually pays way to know developments because if not for anything when can also contribute equally as men can. In conclusion equal chances given to both genders go a long way to attain full rate of development in our society.
Another one as a supporting build a point to my previous factor. This is how gender equality can help improve people-centered development in our societies. A people-centred progress is basically than direct and significant impacts people get through new developments. In that their concerns needs and opinions are the core when developing the societies. This here is a factor for the necessity of gender equality because when both males and females are represented equally when soliciting views and opinions as benefits both genders. To be clear enough ever in a small community somewhere women have to go a long distance to get an essential need like water do not get the chance to say the app layout the focus will be on much less than developments making them lose even though they have gained. With this I believe that gender equality in African contemporary societies will promote people-centered development because of equal representation as mentioned in my first factor. My last Factor is that gender equality can be achieved if our cultures are made equitable. This is important as many of the factors because most of our societal culture and gender biased. In some societies rights of women are infringed on because their husbands are deceased. These women are made to go through on pleasant things like shaving off their hair sleeping with the corpse of their dead husband's but nothing has done two men who lose their wives to death. This Factor is not of practical and so I also talk about the on equal rights we have when it comes to job opportunities. Some jobs have been prescribed and branded before just one gender this cripples people's abilities. Interestingly the opposite gender who are the supposed benefits is gets people who do better than them were given the opportunity to create those chances themselves. Both genders must be given same job opportunities.
In conclusion to this argumentative essay about gender equality, gender inequality is a concept that both men and women can freely develop or develop their own freedom without any rigid gender roles and stereotypes. To explain gender equality: it is an equality between men and women, an equality between men and women is the empowerment, power and opportunity. In terms of gender inequality, girls or women are the people who face difficulties and consequences. Therefore, in order to achieve gender equality, women and girls help to give up or endure and enjoy the benefits of peace and sustainable development. The above-mentioned factors shows the significance of gender equality in African modern societies. Through developments and promoting the process of development that have people as the centre citizenship rights and laws are making culture gender equitable.
