Adolf Hitler And The Power He Gained For Evil

During 1933-1945, Adolf Hitler and the Nazi party ruled most of the continental Europe. Hitler had interesting goals he wanted to accomplish as ruler. Adolf Hitler had many disappointments during his childhood, which influenced the person he became during the Holocaust.

Adolf Hitler was born April 20th, 1889 in Austria to Klara and Alois Hitler Sr. His father worked for the government as a customs agent and had been previously married. In that marriage he had two children, Alois Jr. and Angela. After he got married to Klara they had three more children; Hitler, Edmund, and Paula. Throughout his life Hitler experienced both the good and the bad. His father drank heavily, which left his family at mercy. He usually beat his wife, kids, and sometimes even his dog. Most of his tempers were taken on Hitler’s older brother, who got the worst of the beatings since he was older.

At age fourteen he ran away from home to escape from his father. That led to Hitler getting beat more often. His mother, Klara, on the other hand was completely opposite from Hitler’s father. She was often too caring and overprotective and that bothered HItler as he got older because he longed to be independent. At age six, Hitler was finally able to get a small sense of freedom and self-independence when he entered Volksshule. According to his classmates, HItler was very smart and excelled in academics. His teacher also noticed his alertness and his organization. At the age of eleven he had to choose between Realschule and the gymnasium. The gymnasium was a secondary school that focused more on the arts and preparing students for college. This, in Hitler’s mind, was the only option he had the desire to be a painter. On the other hand Hitler’s father wanted him to follow in his footsteps and forced him to go to Realschule.

On August 1914, despite Hitler being an Austrian citizen, he joined the German Army to fight in World War 1. After the war his German patriotism grew since he was bitter over Germany losing. In 1932 Hitler ran for German president but was elected chancellor. Hitler was the leader of Germany from 1933-1945. Although, he was a harsh leader Hitler was idolized. He provided hope and sense of security for the German people. The people believed that Hitler would help them and fix their country. Hitler has been an idolized leader for many reasons including having connections to the community, his communication skills, creating safety for his followers, sharing a common purpose, and his use of love and fear.

HItler had a strong opinion that Jews were to be destroyed, he wanted to get rid of the entire race, because to him they had no purpose to live. The Holocaust is now famously known for the murders of the Jews. Six million Jews were murdered under Hitler’s orders. The Jews were put in concentration camps better described as “death camps” and this was only done to separate the race from everyone else. Before the Jewish people were murdered they suffered from isolation, starvation, and mistreatment.

Adolf HItler was a Nazi dictator of Germany, known as the person responsible for the Holocaust. According to the textbook “The West and the World” talks about how HItler established his New Order which was a policy to fulfill his racist agenda. In his New Order, he talks about being able to rank people based on there races. At the top of the ranking was the Aryan which included the Dutch, Scandinavians and the Anglo-Saxons. After them was were the French and the Latin descendants, he considered them intolerable. At the bottom were the Slavs, he suggested that they be killed. Lasty, the lowest of the low were the Jews, HItler didn’t consider them people. He compared them with everything he feared, hated, and sought to destroy.

Adolf Hitler took over a regime named “ The Third Reich. ” Hitler and supporters became people whom chose the fate, treatment, and punishment of the Jewish people. The jewish people were forced to atrocious acts of violence that some people today do not believe it once happened. Hitler began segregating his victims by establishing Jew laws and regulations. In 1926, Hitler started a group named “Hitler’s Youth” which were children eighteen and under to be in sport rallies with marches. The jewish population was banned from joining/participating.

In 1938, all Austrian Jewish organizations and people were evacuated from their homes as regulations. The “Shield Squadron” aka S. S army took over their shelters. They kept any items that were valuable and made themselves at home. The S. S army began beating their victims, sometimes killing without any cause. Many Jews lost their jobs, homes, family members, and unfortunately worst case of dehumanization that has occured in the world.

In conclusion, Adolf Hitler, although a sick and twisted man, was a brilliant, charismatic leader. His speeches drew crowds of people in and earned their popularity, but used the power he gained for evil. He will go down in history as a demonic man, who used power for his own good.
