Allah - A Creator Of The Universe Acording To The Holy Quran
Every person is a believer by fitrah. allah created mankind and installed in their nature the belief in him if they follow allah almighty they will be calm and happy: whereas if they fail to do so they will face hardships and sickness. allah almighty says: but whosoever turns away from my reminder verily for him is a life of hardship. [surah ta-ha ayah 124] every person irrespective of demographic factor believes in accordance with their fitrah that there is no god except allah the one and only. how is that consider this example: if an atheist who thinks that there is not a single proof that proves the existence of god goes on a ship expedition and eventually the sea storm hit the ship the giant size waves crash onto his ship at that very moment this atheist seeks refuge with allah the almighty. and allah says: when they board a ship they supplicate allah being sincere to him in religion. but when he delivers them to the land at once they associate others with him. alongside a group of disbelieving scientists travelling by plane will sincerely turn to allah for their safety whenever the pane gets into a difficult situation and they fear a crash.
Hence human being is a believer by fitrah but he insist persistently on disbelieving as long as he is safe powerful wealthy and doing well. design and designer argument: many people would take that as very clear evidence that there is a design in this universe. everything is put together to sustain human life. in quran it is mentioned that god created everything in exact proportion 16:25 the planets. the solar system. the way everything is coordinated. the distance between the sun and the earth which if decreased may burn everything and if increased everything would freeze. this is all deliberate. the succession of day and night the circulation or changes of seasons .definitely show that there is a design behind them and as is obvious any design needs a designer or creator it. one verse in the quran states have they not reflected on the domain of the heavens and earth and what god created therein in another verse it also says in the creation of the heavens and earth and in the succession of day and night there are certainly signs for those who reflect. those who remember god while standing sitting and laying down and ponder on the creation of the heavens and the earth saying: our lord you have not created this in vain. glory be to you. give us salvation from the penalty of the fire. 3: 190-191 scientific argument: another proof to prove the existence of the creator is to refer to the arguments mentioned in the quran: that the universe must necessarily have a creator which signs in nature point to the creators design and that mankind accepts the existence of the creator.
The universe must necessarily have a creator because it is impossible for the universe to have created itself or to have been created by nothing. therefore there must have been a creator who provided the initial force and energy needed to set the universe in motion. allah said: were they created by nothing or were they the creators of themselves or did they create the heavens and the earth rather they are not certain. [surah at-tur 52:35-36] newtons first law of motion tells us that bodies at rest will stay at rest unless a force acts upon them. therefore the initiation of the universe required force and energy to originally set it in motion. this force and energy is the work of allah the almighty the creator. this argument was used by imam abu hanifa to confound the atheists who challenged him. ibn abu al-izz reported: it is said that abu hanifa may allah have mercy on him was approached by some speculative theologians who intended to discuss with him the oneness of allahs lordship. he said before we discuss this question tell me what you think about a boat in the euphrates which goes to shore loads itself with food and other things then returns anchors and unloads all by itself without anyone sailing or controlling it they said this is impossible. abu hanifa said: if it is impossible with a boat then how is it possible for the world in all its vastness to move by itself source: sharh aqidah at-tahawi 35 a person who does not believe in god would admit that our senses are limited.
Our perceptions are limited. our sight hearing etc- we know that. also we know that our perceptions could also be deceived or they can deceive us. on the other hand science can tell you for sure how to use technology for example to communicate sounds and pictures; this can be determined fully by science. however there are many aspects in lives of people that are beyond science also. there is the moral aspect there are the ethical standards and there is the application of the fundamental principal of good and bad. as we said the [principle of good and bad] is instinctive but still needs some modifications and limitations. and we know throughout history that people have always had differences as to what exactly defines the proper ethical or moral standards. in order to resolve that problem there must be a higher authority god himself telling us and providing us with stable standards of ethics and morality within which you can interpret various details. religious perspective religion according to the oxford dictionary means belief in a superhuman controlling power specially a one god entitled to obedience and worship. a common nature of all major religions is the belief in a universal god or supreme authority
Followers of all major religion believe that the god they worship is the same god for them as well as for others. quran says in the following verse: say o people of the scripture come to a word that is equitable between us and you that we will not worship except allah and not associate anything with him and not take one another as lords instead of allah but if they turn away then say bear witness that we are muslims [submitting to him]. al-quran 3:64 prophets called people to belief in oneness of god and monotheism and prohibited them from polytheism. the holy prophet muhammad saw began his mission with monotheism and in the first stage announced: say there is no god except allah and be successful. laws and beliefs of islam are based on the oneness of the godhead. the holy quran has accorded a special position to monotheism through numerous verses in such a way that it can be said to be a book of monotheism that opposes polytheism.
The holy quran considers polytheism to be the only sin which is unforgivable under every circumstance. and he says: surely allah does not forgive that anything should be associated with him and forgives what is besides that to whomsoever he pleases. 4:48 surah ikhlas explains the oneness of allah: say: he is allah the one and only; allah the eternal absolute; he begetteth not nor is he begotten; and there is none like unto him. in the islamic tradition the case for gods existence is solid in terms of its rational foundations as well as the purpose meaning comfort and guidance that it gives to our lives. the quran inspires conviction by appealing to the aspects of the inner life of human beings namely to the heart and the mind. allah has created mankind and jinns to worship him only.it is mentioned in quran. and i did not create the jinn and mankind except to worship me.
Quran 51:56 but mankind is superior than all other creations of allah almighty. they are regard as ashraful mukloqat. mankind has been blessed with the intellect which allow them to differ between good and bad/right and wrong and understanding of things. this intellect differ the mankind from all other creations of allah. god mentions in the quran: we have certainly created man in the best of stature. 95:4 in my opinion scientific proof is the strongest argument to prove the existence of god because this argument proves that there is some super power which is controlling the system of the universe.
