A Leader is an influencer, it only occurs when others are willing to adopt for a period of time, the goals of a group as their own. Thus, leaders concerns are building interrelated and goal-oriented teams (Hogan, J. , 1994). Besides, Context is the background in which an occasion takes place. It come in numerous forms and comprise any set of conditions surrounding an event. Thus, contextual leadership implies the person to have the aptitude to distinguish and analyze the excessive contextual factors in an event then deliberately adjust behavior to exert influence in that context.
There are several methods to evaluate the contextual leadership. In order to elaborate I’ll use Terblanche’s contextual leader ship in the case study as an example.
