Analysis Of The Book 'The Butter Battle' By Dr. Seuss

'The Butter Battle' book by Dr. Seuss it is about to militarism because each side of the wall is trying to be better than the other side. Clearly, they don’t like each other’s the Zooks and Yooks, because the one side of the wall likes to put butter on the bottom of their bread, and the other on the top. The competition between Yooks and Zooks has reached highest peak. Instead of trying to solve the problem and accepting what each other does, they resort to violence and war. Each side of the wall the Zooks and Yooks feels that violence is the best and most effective way to respond this war, because that is how they were raised and this was their norm.

Neither side was realized that they both put butter on their bread. This is it showing that both sides were using the same method as thinking as which side would taste better. It shouldn’t matter what side it’s on since it will still taste the same. Both sides of the wall yooks and zooks want to take place in the theory of action. They want to harm the other side of the wall, which according to them for putting their butter on the wrong side of the bread because that was “wrong”. Both sides of the walls their focus was to come up with very violent weapons, and it was continues with weapon after weapon to keep the other group out or down. These weapons were build with potential to harm and kill many Yooks and Zooks. In order to prove that they were right each side of the wall is willing to sacrifice some of their people.

This competition was growing for both sides of the wall, to be better than one another; they’re in race. They had teams which were working on just coming up with bigger and better weapons than the other side of the wall. Although building the weapons is part of the main theme of the story, many people overlook the ever-growing wall between the Yooks and the Zooks. The story it is getting repeated until they come with the same weapons and the same suit on.

At the end the wall was very high where neither side could communicate with each other. Even though the war between zooks and Yooks it was growing the main point was just to prove others that they were wrong for putting the butter either down or up, where they could solve the issue by accepting each other as they are.
