Analysis of Various Political Attitudes

The development of personality of any person is only possible when he remains consistent and stands firm on his Values. However, change is the rule of nature but with respective of changes a person should stand firm and has faith in his fundamental truths and Values. Representers of political groups have different values that determine their attitudes. 

About Political Attitude

  • Radicals - they are discontent with the existing system. They want immediate and upside-down changes in the system. They even justify violence for bringing the desired changes in the system. Radicals generally support farmers and workers and want to bring change in a short duration time. They want to destroy the old system and place a new system. They don't have any faith in constitutional and other political methods to bring changes in the system. According to them, whole system is so much deteriorated that it cannot be corrected. In place of old system, they always have conception of a new system which is exploitation free.
  • Liberals - are less dissatisfied with the system than Radicals. Liberals believe in bringing changes in the system by being part of it. They do not justify violence for bringing changes like Radicals.They believe in the intellectual capacity of the people. According to them, if people are made to understand then they will bring the changes in the system.
  • Moderates - they believe in the Buddha's 'Middle Path Theory or Aristotle's 'Golden Mean Theory. They are generally satisfied with the system but feels that there is scope for improvement in the system. However, they want these changes in a gradual and slow manner. According to them, if changes arebrought suddenly then the whole system will collapse. Thus adequate time should be given to system foradopting these changes in a phased manner.
  • Conservatives - they are generally satisfied with the existing conditions of the system. They believe in maintaining the 'status-quo' condition of the system. They fear that if changes are brought inthe system then it might become more deteriorated. They accept in bringing in cremental changes in the system only when it is necessary.
  • Reactionaries - they are highly dissatisfied with the system. They believe in bringing changes to the system in such a way as to take it back to older times. They glorify the past and want a political setunas well as Cultural Revolution. They may or may not justify the violence. Thus their changes are retrogressive in nature.

 

Conclusion

As a conclusion, no person can be a judge of himself/herself. A person who is aware of his responsibilities will only be able to appreciate the effects of his or others actions. No person can evaluate himself correctly. So it is important that every representative, no matter what political ideology, that he accepts and understands responsibility for his attitudes.
