Having and expressing strong feelings can lead you to a good or bad scenario. Communication is a complex subject that can lead you to an interaction between two or more people. A written letter of complaint is the first scenario. Complaints always arise in an inferiority of goods and service in a company. When we are angry or we are in the state of resentment toward other person, we tend to hand a letter with a threatening content. In that circumstances, it blocks the idea of being understood with your inappropriate use of language. Having a good argument is better than rising your voice or writing explicit content letter. A communication that lacks of understanding can block the whole argumentation. Don’t let your emotion control you. Instead, learn to use the ethical way of writing a letter so that an advisable response will follow. Second is the interaction between a nurse and a patient in pain. We all know the inseparable relationship between nurse and their patient. The inner mind of the patient creates a higher level of trust towards their assigned physician. For example, the patient is having a hard time because of his/her illness. The patient went to nurse station to clarify something and ask them for assistance but the nurse is also having a hard time throughout the shifting of nurses. It may cause of disagreement so the patient will feel the discomfort and anxiety in the hospital. Nursing is built with some communication skills along the side. If you are having trouble helping patient, try to calm down first and ask them politely with no pressure so that the communication will flow accordingly to the both of you. Last scenario is the songs with figurative language. Music is a way of individual to escape from the cruelty of the world. It can convey different emotion and it can narrate your life through the lyrics of the songs. As the time goes by, many songs arrive suddenly but of course in different genre and country. For example, is the songs in Hollywood, the Demons by imagine dragons tackle about the flaws of the protagonist. It said that “Don’t get too close its dark inside, its where my demons hide”, the artist use figurative language in that lyrics, so anyone who has no capability of thinking deeper can make the song misconceive. Many people get fooled into believing the actual meaning of the song. Using figurative language in the songs is so good to hear but it can also misinterpret and if you are uneducated enough the world will take advantage of you.
Overall, in these scenarios, communication is not just who speak the most. It’s like give and take wherein you will be having a one on one talk to each other and it will flow accordingly. We can realize that communication has many holes but as a student having a bunch of knowledge can cover it to have an excellent flow of communication.
