Nursing and Education are two academic majors a college student may be deliberating on. These are two majors that help impact people’s lives, so if a person is passionate about helping people then nursing and education are great choices for a career. A student who knows they have the potential to make a positive impact in people's lives may make them want to be able to do it as a career, the trouble is choosing one that would accommodate them specifically. When people can’t decide between two things, naturally they compare and contrast to pick the better option for them individually.
Nursing and Education have many differences and similarities. After comparing the most important aspects such as, the duration of education, salary, and how their job responsibilities impact people’s lives. That can ultimately guide one to choose the correct career path in life. Registered nurses impact the lives of so many people on a day to day schedule. They are responsible for ensuring that records and charts are accurate, so that the patients are provided with the correct medical care. They also take the patients blood pressure, temperatures, do physical exams, carry out treatments and medications, sanitize equipments, and many other things. Registered nurses are responsible for educating their patients, or the relative’s of their patients on medical conditions.
Nursing is a career in which one can learn new things along the way, whether it’s about different types of medical conditions and treatments, or how to improve in their profession. Nurses work with doctors, dieticians, hospital administrators and other health care providers to improve the health of their patients. In contrast, teachers directly influence how successful their students are in their future professions, and as principled human beings. Teachers are required to regularly produce lessons and examine them to ensure they are up to date. They are also responsible for arranging and performing essential classroom management practices. Teachers educate students with knowledge that they will carry throughout their lives. Not only do teachers teach a subject, but they can promote a student to obtain expectations, consistency, communication, and time management. When a person is taught to have these life changing skills, they challenge themselves in life. A person who is taught consistency will exceed by not giving up on goals, continuing projects in life, and later accomplishing their dreams.

Registered nurses are required to earn a minimum of an associates degree, however many employers prefer applicants with bachelor’s degrees.
