Conservation of Forest - an Urgent Problem Around the World
After World War II, once the US President Roosevelt went through the land of Egypt from the airplane, he read the great accolades of Wildlife of the famous Cedar Trees in Lebanon's history. But when they peeped down and saw that bare mountains are standing and where there are ten or twenty trees, they were deeply grieved.
The same stupidity in other parts of the world is also being followed, with the detailed information received by them, they were even more aggrieved by the American representatives on the League of Nations that the conservation of forest wealth in the World Food and Agriculture Organization is also important. That's what happened.
Iceland's long life was coming out of its forest estate. As a result, they are sitting in their fertile land asleep. After 1964, their eyes opened and planned 20 hundred thousand new trees in a planned manner. Tasmania too was the same. Those people lost the tree estate, consequently, the entire process of sandy tributaries started. They swallowed up their grass in the stomach up to the grass. When there is a question of life-threatening, they have lifted high pine and cedar trees and prevented them from sandy winds and spreading 1,500 acres of land in the desert's mouth.
In Scotland, there was a six-mile tall and two miles wide desert called the Ku Sands. Those people have crushed the mouth of the dragon and now there are lush green gardens. Libya has decided to divide its deserts with small shrubs and they are being successful in that effort.
Australia has 83 varieties of plants from all over the world and some plants can grow in dry ambiguity in the area of 7-inch wide rainfall area. A large part of the Boom desert, which has been roasting like fire, has now been made green by the innovative efforts of the plantation. Desmond Phyllis, a farmer of that area, has planted 6,000 trees with his lone effort, which has now grown 20 feet tall. These trees have made the horizontal dry land of the region habitable for humans and animals.
Morocco has abandoned its Ku and managed its destroying forest estate. These days, they have planted 65,000 olive, 2,700 almonds, and 13,100 mangrove trees. He has also received grants from the National League for this work.
Overall, under the auspices of the League of Nations, the efforts are being made to increase the forest wealth by providing major financial assistance under Cedar forests in Lebanon and thousands of acres of land have been re-greening. Such efforts have happened elsewhere. The green area in Israel is one-third and the desert is two-thirds. Those people have pledged to make this dry land green and they are working hard in this direction. In the past, 10 million new plants have been planted by those people.
