Designing Mountain Hiking Tickets Booking Information Systems Mobile Applications

This research was conducted because there is still an ineffective online ticket booking system. The method used is descriptive data collection methods and approaches to object-oriented systems in supporting system design. The results revealed, how effective the design of an online ticket booking system and many users agree with this design. The conclusion about this research is with the design of this application users can find out information about climbing schedules, the number of current climbers, and the weather at the current location. This study discusses the procedure for account registration, ticket ordering, and data approval.

Introduction

In nursing education world, quality of education materials are needed and can be accessed anywhere and anytime, the examples is using cell phone as a media which is currently being developed. It can be said that cellular devices are one of the information technologies that contain applications and services of communication. In another case, currently a mobile taxi booking application in the city has been developed as one of the links between passengers and taxi drivers. Passengers can easily search for available taxis in the surrounding area and place an order. Information and communication technology makes it easy for consumers to access the internet and find information about various services using smartphones. This is utilized by Airlines to enrich their business by improving the function of website and offering flight ticket ordering applications that can be downloaded

In designing information systems, it is necessary to analyze and design using object-oriented prototype methods which are described in simple diagrams to analyze and improve product quality [5]. Capturing the truth of an information from an information source is one of the most difficult things to do. One of the influencing factors is that there is no special access to various information sources and poor data quality in various repositories. In relation to product marketing, with a digital marketing strategy, of course you have to know the right marketing methods, how to promote, the quality of the marketed content, and marketing targets. As well as in making a strategy must pay attention to customers because the customer is the foundation of the company's growth, survival, and business success. So that new businesses are built successfully, there are several factors that need to be considered such as strong determination, hard work, dedication, managerial competence, market demand, strict control and paying attention to the target market. Unfortunately, of all the cases and discussions that have been discussed, the discussion about the information system for mountain hiking ticket booking applications based on mobile applications does not yet exist. For this reason, this research was conducted because the online ticket booking system is still ineffective, even though it already exists but it cannot be applied functionally because the user is not yet familiar with the mobile application-based order. The method used is descriptive data collection methods and approaches to object-oriented systems to support system design.

Method

The method used is descriptive method, data collection is done by distributing questionnaires to several respondents and object-oriented systems approach to support the making of applications to explore the ticket booking process that consumers want. The system approach taken is object-oriented design, used to define and illustrate the organization of information systems in stages in the form of modules and sub-modules, object-oriented design also shows the relationship of data elements and control elements between the relationships between modules. The analytical model must be able to achieve three main objectives, namely describing what the user needs, building the basis for making software design, limiting a set of requirements that can be validated as soon as the software is built. Object-oriented design can provide a complete explanation and the system is viewed from the data analysis using tools such as use case diagrams, use case scenarios, and activity diagrams. The system development method used is the prototype method.

Results and Discussion

The system design goals that the author designs are to make it easier for application users to order tickets and find out information about the location of the destination for mountain hiking. The first starts from the design of the proposed procedure is

  1. Prospective climbers enter the mountain hiking ticket booking application and register their accounts in advance so they can order tickets by input their first name, last name, ID number, e-mail, telephone number, and password.
  2. Prospective climbers enter the login page, input telephone numbers or e-mail and input passowrd.
  3. Prospective climbers see first the mountain area that will be climbed.
  4. After matching found the mountain and the condition, prospective climbers will be directed to the page to choose the date.
  5. After choosing the climbing date the prospective climber will be directed to the booking details and prospective climbers input their ID number, number of climbers, and upload an identity card.
  6. After input the climber's data, prospective climbers will input the provisions page that must be considered by prospective climbers.
  7. If the prospective climber has read the conditions, it will be directed to the payment details and make a ticket order.
  8. If the prospective climber has made an order, the admin will receive climber data, climbing date, climbing path, number of climbers and payment details.
  9. If it has been received and read, the Admin will approve.
  10. If it has been approved, the admin tap "Agree" and the status changes to booked.
  11. If it has been approved then the ticket and SIMAKSI (Conservation Area Entry Permit) sent by admin via e-mail.

Prospective climbers are required to register an account on the application and logging in. After logging in, prospective climbers can see the information and tickets available, if they have made their choice, prospective climbers make payments.

Conclusion

Mountain Hiking Tickets Booking Information Systems Mobile Applications can help prospective climbers to speed up the ticket booking process to find out more information about climbing, the weather on the mountain, how many climbers have registered, and minimizing the climber queue.
