Different On-Line Applications
School parking app
An app which uses a parking system that counts cars as they enter and leave parking lots and garages and then feeds that data to a field hardware device that uploads it to cloud storage.
Those looking to park can set their location on their smartphone and look on a map to see what spots are available nearby.
Another idea was to have a space indicator light installed on the front of the parking space, offering drivers a clear view of where open spaces can be found and what type of parking is permitted in an individual space.
Different colors would indicate each space’s status and user group: green for available, red for occupied, blue for handicapped parking and purple for electric vehicle charging stations.
This idea seemed interesting because it’s definitely relatable to students from FSC. Each semester, more and more students are enrolling. More students mean more class sections. It also means less available parking spots. Many times, you see students waiting in parking lots, or making continuous circles till someone leaves their spot. Not only would the app be more convenient for students, it will help alleviate issues of students being late or missing classes.
Waze app for busses
Through the app, you can tap on bus stops to see when the next departures are, and you can plan multi-modal trips for short hops or long-distance journeys.
As you travel, you can see other users on the map and receive information from them about how their journeys are progressing and the quality of their ride.
This app would be very useful for commuters in big cities such as New York or Philadelphia. With more than 200 miles of subway tracks, over 300 MTA bus routes and a whopping 2,000 bridges and tunnels throughout the area, commuting isn't always easy. The app will tell you which subway to get on, which bus to ride, and what turn to make where. It will also let you know when the next bus or train is due to arrive, and if comfort is a priority, it will let you know the current capacity. Most of the data will be user derived, meaning users will identify any issues with certain busses or trains.
Doctor appointment app
A specialized doctor appointment app which can find a doctor nearby, read reviews, and book appointments. Online doctor booking makes it easier for patients to find the professional they need and have the visit at the most convenient time.
A doctor review feature would allow patients to choose a doctor they trust and gives your facility a good chance to leverage their reputation.
This app can be very useful for both healthcare professionals and patients looking for the right doctor. This mobile app for healthcare organizations will help to provide their services with quality care, improved workflow, and increased patient interaction while minimizing the cost and complexity. A doctor appointment booking feature for patients to let them know their availability and give an option to book an appointment works for many doctors with busy schedules. Complexity can also play a factor with this app, as a very large database will most likely be necessary.
