From Anti-Semitism To Holocaust
The Holocaust took place during the second world war and was a very horrible event that affected the whole world and created a lot of tension during the war. More than 6 million Jews were killed by other groups such as Gypsies and Homosexuals. They were killed by the German Nazi regime, To Hitler, Jews were an inferior race. Hitler had had them killed because he felt that they were a threat to German racial purity. Hitler's final act of these prosecutions was a mass murder of Jews killed in camps set up across Poland, This was the Holocaust.
Before the Holocaust Anti-Semitism in Europe did not begin with Hitler, There was hostility towards Jews all the way back to the 1870s. In 1933 the Nazis came into power and started to expand their regimes and began to obtain a lot of power. Hitler introduced anti-semitic laws which discriminate against Jews. The Nazis believed that the Jews had a problem and they wanted them to be killed because they didn't like their world views. The Jews were a huge threat during WW2 they were the biggest target and were being killed every day due to Nazi regimes. The camps were the biggest concern to the Jews because that's where they were held until they were killed. During this time there were a lot of Germans that did not approve of Hitler's actions but did nothing because of how much power he had. The Jews did not have any chances during this time they were defenseless and stood no chance against Nazi power.
The Holocaust happened at the end of WW2 and was a huge impact on the world. The World War was very impactful on the Holocaust and it caused a lot of tension. The Holocaust had changed the worldview of Jews and made their lives super hard. Millions of Jews being killed had made the world very aware of racism and had led to many things being put into effect to prevent this. Many Jews were framed or innocent and were still killed and many families were separated and never to see each other again. There are still things that happen today that are relevant to the Holocaust and still relate to the past. Many Holocaust survivors tell their stories to try and inform the world of the pain and struggle they went through. This has raised a flag for the whole world and everything was put into effect to stop this. The world has gotten better and has put many laws into effect to make the world a better place.
When Hitler came into power many Jews had left and moved away. The Jews that couldn't get away were killed or put into camps and had to spend many years captive. The Jews had their properties taken and they had lost their jobs and all other privileges By 1939 only 16 percent of Jews had employment and were sustained with little privilege. In 1941 Jews were marked with the star of David and were being put into camps. Jewish kids were kicked out of German schools and had to be relocated. The Jews that did stay tho were being faced with isolation and abuse. They experienced both physical and verbal abuse. Many Jews were scared to leave because of the Nazi's power. Lots tried to escape but were killed or captured and that made all Jews think it was impossible. Police were ordered not to stop the attacks due to Hitler and the Nazi regime running all of Germany. They didn't put out any fires or stop any murders because they were German police. The Jews were faced with no chances and no possible ways to escape, They were stuck in Germany in camps with no way out.
The Holocaust was a very world-changing event that happened in the 21 century. It changed the world drastically and made everyone think about racism in a different way. This tragic event shaped the world to be a better place with less racism and better world views on preventing racism. The Holocaust ended up killing millions of innocent people and leaving many families left broken. This event was also an eye-opener for the world allowing everyone to see what was going on. Many survivors explain their stories to the world and tell them about the decisions they were faced with. The Holocaust destroyed a lot of Jewish history and can never be replaced but only prevented from happening again.
