God’s Faithfulness In The Old Testament
The best time to reflects God’ faithfulness is at the end of the year. Doing that will help us to strengthen our faith in Him because we are about to prepare for the beginning of a new year. In Deuteronomy 7:9 “God is faithful for those who are faithful to Him.” Now the question is, how faithful we are to God? (“A Study of God's Faithfulness”).God is faithful by keeping his promises. According to the Bible, when God made a beautiful place for us to dwell he wants us to take care of it, to love one another, to take care of the animals, and to be close with him, but we disobey it we ruin the place that he made, we’re fighting with each other, and we are not taking care of the animals. But there is one guy who followed God, so He made a special rescue for him and told him to build a big boat like an arc in a dry place where his family can be safe and two of every kind of animals. It rained for 40 days and 40 nights when the water stopped it didn’t go away Noah and the animals stayed in the arc for over a year and waited for a dry land. When Noah discover there was a dry land he first built an altar to worship God. In this story, God promised Noah that He will never send another flood to destroy the life on earth. We’ve learned how Noah followed God it is a message to every one of us that we must believe in Him so in times that we are weak, we lose hope, and we are in danger always know that God will be there to rescue us. For those who are struggling always think that there’s a better outcome after you encountered that there’s no best reward other from God. God is worthy of faith.
In Joseph’s story in the bible, he was his father’s favorite where it furious his ten old brothers and his younger brother that they planned to throw him on a dark pit but instead they just sell him to a man from Egypt and made him a servant. Joseph served a rich guy named Potiphar he like Joseph so much that he put him in charge of the whole house but one day Joseph was blamed for the thing that he didn’t do, and he was automatically sent to the jail. But one of the guard in jail like Joseph too so he made him in charge of the other prisoners. God gave him the knowledge about dreams so when one of the Pharaoh dreams, but no one knows what it means someone recommended Joseph to tell what it means, and the Pharaoh thinks that he is a brilliant man, so he made him in charge of keeping food in seven hunger years, so he saves a lot of people including his brothers, but he forgave them because he is willing to follow God. Learning about Joseph’s journey made me realized a lot of things Joseph’s life was filled with ups and downs, but God had a plan and help him get through the hard times. Like whatever struggles or challenges we face remember that God is always there whether its bad times or good times. He will never leave us. Faithfulness is foundational to a happy, God-honoring home as well. The children of Israel been through a lot under the ruling of the Pharaoh’s they tried to destroy Israel and made the people of God a slave. God planned to save his people where he sent Moses to defeat Pharaohs, but God knows that they will resist, God, let Moses bring a plague. The night before Israel left Egypt they sacrificed a young spotless lamb and painted the blood on their door frames. When the Pharaohs decided to set them free they left Egypt as soon as they can, but Pharaoh changed his mind and gather all his army for the final showdown. Every year the Israelites remember and celebrate God’s justice and mercy. By having faith in God, it will assure us that we are secured or safe. We feel more confident to face any challenges because we do it with Him. If we develop faithfulness in us it will let us stay close to God and there we will find true happiness and success in everything that we will do.
Conclusion
We know that there are always people who believe and do not believe in Him.
Some of us are losing hope for whatever we are going through and sometimes being not able to resist doing evil but remember that He will be there and rescue us. We must know that God is always with us whatever struggles we’re going through, we just have to believe in Him, keep on worshipping Him and trusting His plans because I know He has a better plan for us he may not give it today but after all the hardships he’ll give it on the right time. God knows that we are always meant for greater things, remember when tough days come, He knows that you’re going to make it because you always have Him. Trust his plans and see for yourself the reward that you deserve.
