Transforming My Eating Habits: Journey to Better Health
When it comes to the things we eat on a daily basis, not many of us are concerned with what we put into our bodies. After writing down these past days everything I ate throughout the day, I noticed that the stuff I was eating was not as good as I thought it was. Noticing how much-saturated fat, sodium benzoate, and hydrogenated oil was in several of the foods I consumed, it is explainable why my body is reacting a certain way. This is my eating habits essay where I'm going to discuss this topic.
Being used to eating unhealthy and not being cautious of what I am putting in my body is something that should be more aware of. Too much-saturated fats in my diet can lead to having bad cholesterol which can result in heart disease. In whole milk and butter, there is a high amount of saturated fat that can damage my body over time. That is why it is important to know what we are letting inside our bodies.
Learning what we are putting in our bodies is an excellent way to start becoming healthy with our eating habits. If we paid more attention to the ingredients that are inside each food then our bodies will thank us later on. Eating well can help maintain our health and make us feel good overall. Picking natural foods and steering clear from consuming too many fats is the first step in helping our health. Identify the difference between good fats and bad fats is a vital part of a healthy diet. Once we get the hang of it, we slowly start to develop different eating patterns and learn what is healthy and what is not. Staying away from eating many servings of dairy products, and switching to whole grain and olive oil is a better alternative.
To my acknowledge, what I consumed daily, and the schedule I developed when it comes to my eating habits, is what are preventing me from having a healthy diet. Tending to eat at irregular times have made me slow and low in energy. Not being organized with the meal timings has been a huge problem for me because sometimes that can lead to skipping certain meals that we need to consume each day. Getting eight hours of sleep each night and having a nutritious breakfast can not only benefit my body but the way I act overall. Teaching myself to eat a certain amount and stopping when I am comfortably full. It can lead over time to feel better not only in appearances but physically as well.
