Although meditation has been practiced for thousands of years, the meditative technique called the 'relaxation response' was pioneered in the U.S. by Harvard doctor Herbert Benson who was the creator of the mind/body medical institute in massachusetts general hospital in boston. The technique has gained acceptance from physicians and therapists worldwide and has a multipurpose use in life.

Stress can play a major role in life and can make you think differently when facing difficult situations. There is no chance to live a life without stress. But you have the power to deal with it, to control it and use it in your favor. Without stress, there is no growth. So find a way to control stress and reduce it.
