Leaving A Comfort Zone Is Crucial To Make Achievement

There is this part of human nature that makes people absolutely terrified to step even the tiniest of bit out of their comfort zone. A comfort zone is where he or she is at ease and feels safe, but how is one supposed to live their life to the fullest just within that range of comfortability?Now, there is a fine line between out of the comfort zone and pushing into the panic zone. So without pushing himself into a panic zone, reach just outside of the comfort zone to find a new part of oneself.

There are many ways to push himself out of a comfort zone, such as meeting new people, going to new places, and performing physically exhilarating activities. However, finding just the right amount of push is the real key to stepping out of said comfort zone and finding that happy medium. Anytime a person is meeting new people they can feel very uncomfortable and will feel the urge to “go back in their shell”. Resisting this urge is the first step someone should take in their journey on meeting new people. Once they can move past that urge, then the rest gets simpler. After moving past that first step, one can much more easily talk to others and maybe make a new friend.

Another important note on meeting new people is that no one expects for that person to become your best friend. But, learning about someone else’s interests and hobbies can strengthen social skills and make he or she more sociable. All in all, meeting someone new will improve one’s social life and in turn, make them a happier person.

New places are another huge discomfort for the human soul, but it is also a good mental challenge. A new place or even a new situation with all new people is a frightening thing, however, there are ways to approach such situations without all the stress. While being in a new situation is uncomfortable, it is a good way to healthily stretch that range of comfort. A new place is a great opportunity for a lot of good to happen. One can meet new people, explore the new place, and potentially even learn a little about oneself. With so many opportunities at hand, comes an even greater possibility of discovering this new side of oneself and really expanding that comfort zone. Lots of people will do physical challenges as their way of stepping out of their comfort zone. This will really get someone out of their comfort zone, for example, going bungee jumping or skydiving. And it doesn’t even necessarily need to be something as extravagant as those, it can be as simple or as complex as desired. It all has to do with what type of person they are and how adventurous they are.

The biggest thing one needs to know for these types of challenges is that fear will come into play. Fear is a huge part of what forms our comfort zones, so someone wanting to push that comfort zone is going to have to be prepared to face fears. Once he or she can face that fear and persevere through the mental block, then it will feel as if they can conquer the world, which is a feeling everyone wants to have. Stepping into areas of discomfort is obviously not going to be comfortable, but the mental approach is where you have to start. Get comfortable with being uncomfortable. If one can do that, the rest will just fall into place. Also, treat this as a learning experience, because it is. This is someone discovering a new part of themselves that they may have not known before, so it needs to be treated as a learning experience. If someone is able to master the mental piece of stepping out of comfort zones, then the physical is easy. The mental aspect of this subject is so crucial to being successful and it is really where one starts on their journey.

A comfort zone is meant to be broken, it is meant to be broken so that we can thrive in this life we are given. The most important thing is for he or she to realize that this is a learning experience for them and yes, there will be fear, but overcoming that fear leaves no comparable feeling. It can also be done in many ways, physical challenges or social challenges and which one they decide to do is up to them. This may all seem crazy and scary, but seeing some results or conquering that fear will leave the most accomplishing feeling.
