Minecraft: Servers and Popularity
What are the reasons of the popularity fo Minecraft? This paper is about Minecraft Essay where we where answer the question. Presently, Minecraft servers make the world go round. They’re gamers only delight, especially in the PC community. If you wish to check-out the most ambitious gamers in the world, then the best place to do so is checking the best Minecraft servers.
Minecraft servers, definitely gives you the best in terms of, structural scale and overall architectural layout. So if you’re the kind that loved Legos as a child and still love to play, then Minecraft is the best catch for you. Giving you absolute freedom to build backgrounds to your hearts satisfaction. And one thing I love about this is, you can do all of this without even knowing how to apply a single code! Isn’t this great.
Minecraft servers are simply interconnected game hubs. This means they permit gamers to play through local area network or online with other people.
Types
Well in this case it varies. No two Minecraft servers are alike. They’re distinguished by the rules, societal structures, and gameplay features. And many type of servers rely on game mode or map editors to build reliable software’s and custom maps that provide additional functions. You might find some of these servers involving survival tactics, PVP oriented, built-in economy, built-in minigames and adventure mode.
Reasons why Minecraft are so Popular
Well most people reckon Minecraft as todays “Super Mario.” It’s absolutely an international delight. And if you’re oblivious of these things, then I believe you ain’t of this planet.
Minecraft is everywhere. You can find them on phones, computers, game consoles, and tablets. It’s also at the local malls and I guess anyplace you can find fun. I also had some reports that Minecraft is gradually being introduced in schools too, something to add a little spice in school curricula activities.
Now the question, why are they popular? As I did say in the beginning of this article, if you’re a Lego fan then Minecraft is your pick and another plus is this, the game is totally fun. You might seem a little bit sarcastic and say, “Fun! What’s fun in a game that looks like Lego?” well, no worries, here’s the catch. You have the liberty to build stuff. And how awesome it can be if you’re a “Game of Thrones” fan, like me. Like, you can build the Kings Landing in a minute! People love Minecraft because you have the absolute right to build the adventure and fun in the game. It makes you a developer, if I can put it that way. The houses, the mansions, the forts and the castles are all built from scratch by using blocks.
Let’s think of this server as a type of “virtual LEGO. Yes, it’s a server that gives its users the opportunity to fit parts or pieces together so as to create something. And the best thing about this kind of server is this, you can create amazing stuffs from nothing actually. It supports its users by providing a blank canvas and unending building blocks. And from this point, it’s up to its users to just create. You can create as much as you want whether silly or absolutely incredible stuffs. And the best part of this is, the tools are totally user-friendly. So there is no place for frustration when using Minecraft’s tools.
How it’s Done?
First of all, we have a “single block” as the basic unit of measurement. It’s a block but having the visuals of what you prefer to use with it in the game. For example, you wish to make an expansive meadow, then your “single block” would be colored green at the top and dark brown below to signify earth.
You begin with a massive, untouched world, ready for creation. Then you walk forward, hit the ground and it begins to dismember or crack. After a few seconds, the ground you punched becomes an empty space.
But before I go further, I’ll like to talk about the word “Minecraft.” Okay, the name sounds a little bit lame because it’s just two words conjoined to give a meaning. You “Mine” and you “Craft.” You punch a dirt block and retrieve the same dirt block to build superstructures. Which I believe goes well with the verb to “Mine.” So when it’s your first time on Minecraft, this is the first thing you’re expected to do.
Once you have enough retrieved blocks, the next step would be to craft. For example, you wish to make a cottage with wood, then you’ll have to mine for wood and that’s done by punching a tree. This helps to create the basic tools. With these basic tools, you’ll further be enabled to mine more complex resources, which also fortifies you to create more complex tools and items.
This cycle of mining resources and creating from them are what ignites the interest of millions of gamers all around the world. And this is just the basic level or beginning of Minecraft.
For the other side of Minecraft, we have what is called “exploration.” Every new world you begin on Minecraft is absolutely unique. This is to say, levels are randomly picked based on some parameters. Here are the constants that might be noticed when beginning:
- There is a cycle of night and day
- Levels always contain the same components, that is, water, dirt and trees, etc.
- Enemies always attack in the night
- Your world always has something that can be discovered whether is an untouched forest, islands, mountains and underground caves
- There is a limit that you can dig for blocks
Oh yes! There are enemies. This makes the game what it is I guess. I also believe you’ve seen the iconic enemy called the “Creeper.” These green monsters are exclusively for the “survival mode” of Minecraft.
If you so wish to create, there’s also something called “Creation mode” that gives you the freedom to do exactly that. In this category or section of the game mode, you have the freedom to have no daily cycle of night and day and no enemies. All you have to do is just create!
In conclusion, when starting Minecraft, do choose “Survival mode.” If you desire to experience more fun as you push forward in the game. All of the “treasure finding” and a whole lot of gamers delight can only be found in “survival mode.” Apart from this, there’re a whole lot of experiences you’ll be missing like; escaping from a mob of zombies, creepers and spiders to hide yourself in the hut you made just for yourself. Staying indoor till the night passes on. Some of the complex worlds weren’t created in a single day. They took months by teams of people that had worked for months. This is the best part of all of Minecraft, because with it you are able to artistically express yourself.
