My Family Is Everything To Me
I am from Atlanta, Georgia I have 3 brothers, and 1 sister. I live with my momma and sometimes I Will go stay with my grandmother. The biggest people in my family to impact my life is my two uncles and my grandparents because besides my parents; my uncles, and my grandparents basically raised me. I remember when I was younger and my grandmother always used to make me go to church and she always made me sit in the front. I never hated church, I Didn't really mind going to church there was just never anyone there I could talk to.
When i told my grandmother that; she would always tell me “commitment and loyalty are important ingredients to achieving ones goal in life. ”I took a lot from that when she says that because it makes me think about my life and what I want to do when I get older. My mother wishes of me is to difficult to understand because she doesn’t really have a goal for me the only goal she usually ever talks to me about is to be successful and happy with whatever I do. She doesn’t care what job i have unless it takes care of me and it can take care of me in the long road when I have a family of my own. My dad is that type of parent that lets you make your own decision he will treat you like an adult until you start acting like a child. My dad loves us but he doesn’t know how to show it unless there's like some type of crisis.
For example when I broke my leg he drove to the hospital and he stayed there overnight with me even after they had to do surgery on my knee and he stayed and spent the night just to see if I was alright. My family really means everything to me my little brother cortney, my older brother keiyondai, jonathan, and even my little sister a’keara are my best friends. When I was younger our parents left nothing to chance when getting read for our summer vacation. Lists were put together and trunks were packed weeks in advance.
On the morning of the trip, a final check was made. When everything was seemed ready, we jumped into the car and began the 8-hour drive. Then, sometime into the trip, our mother realized that something was missing: And she yelled out “WHERE IS A’KERA!!!”. We drove back to the house, where my father found her sitting on the toilet. That day was one of the funniest and one of the best days of my life. And what made it so funny is that I don’t even think that she knew we left her at the house. My momma was so scared when she realized that she left my sister at home she bout had a heart attack. My dad was mad at my mom for leaving her since she was the one driving but in reality it’s both of their faults tho.
