My Strong Interest In Master Of Applied Computing

The pursuit of being successful lies on toiling one does. My chief interest of studies is Computer Engineering. My engagement to fields of software and data analysis has derived me since my juvenile days. I like automating up things with help of technology and this field provided me the base for the same. I believe in evolution of world to make it a place where life is easier and less complicated. I believe in ideology that man and machine working together can provide the best of results. My parents and teachers have taught me values which I cherish and top most among them is to perform better than I can and go the extra mile to make a contribution to the society I live in.

My ambition is to do research in the field of data analytics and Security to bring out something amazing that world has not yet observed. A graduate Degree not only enhances the skills in my area of interest but also makes me academically advanced. Right from my childhood, I have always shown a high degree of competence and interest in mathematics and computer sciences. This drove me to take up mathematics and Computer as a major subject in my pre-university course, i. e. , 10+2 and secured 61%. I did my academics in Bachelors of Engineering from Gujarat, India. I pursued the degree from Vadodara Institute of Engineering, Vadodara which is affiliated under Gujarat Technological University.

My major field of study is Computer Engineering. The course that I pursued is a 4 year intense course covering all major subjects related to computer. During my graduate studies the major subjects I underwent were a few including Computer Programming and Utilization (CPU) that covered the basics of C and C++ programming. The first year lectures of my undergraduate were about 'BASIC' language and on how computers can be used and programmed. From then, I became fascinated about computers and their programming. Mathematics also played a vital role in the subject area. My major fields of study included Data Warehousing, Data Mining, Computer Graphics, Operating System, Software Engineering, Information Security, Database Management System, Distributed Database System, Wireless Communication and Mobile Programming, Business Information System and Object Oriented Analysis and Design, Big Data. I also learnt programming languages like Java, PHP, Html, CSS and JavaScript, DotNet and C#, Swift, Objective C and Shell Scripting. I have cleared all these core subjects with flying colours of CGPA 8. 19.

Throughout my Bachelors, my focus was more into the practical implementation of my ideas that could make the society a stress free and a better one. My ideas originated to implement a system that can help the ones in need at the time of emergency and that can save the energy consumption. We were grouped into a team of three which was leaded by me and where we gave a start to my idea and landed up to implement such a system that can be reached out to ones in need and that which relates the people with the technology.

We implemented such a system called "Mobile Charging Using Coin Insertion". This is a Software and Hardware based system which on inserting a coin charges your mobile for particular range of time. This system is to be used by shop owners, public places like railway stations to provide mobile charging facility. This system consists of a coin recognition module that recognizes valid coin. If a valid coin is found then the data is provided to the controller for the startup process of the relay activation which throws the 5v output with the ground connection directly to the battery of the mobile phone, now systems also needs to monitor the time duration of charging. After the condition of charge time is satisfied the system stops. Even the system ensures security and authentication services by providing security pins which are to be entered by the users. So the system can be used for smart mobile charging at public places. The technologies indulged in the system implementation is BASCOM AVR and microcontrollers. During the last year of my bachelors I was engaged into thesis and research work. I am glad to inform you that my research work was selected and got published in the Second International Conference held at Sigma Institute. There we presented our research work under the topic of "Mobile Charging Using Coin Insertion". My research was certified under (IJSRSET) International Journal Of Scientific Search Inn Science, Engineering and Technology. I would like to showcase you some of the seminars that I had attended and got certified like Ethical Hacking Expert Workshop that was conducted by Sunny Vaghela, Where we learnt and got familiar with the hacking skills and the proudest opportunity is that we got selected in as one for the best design for project and was certified by (GTU) Gujarat Technology University at Design Demo Day (DDD)2k17.

I also got a chance to attend the workshop that was conducted on Android and had a great opportunity to learn the thing beyond my understanding. Apart from academics I was also been a part of my university Sports League. I have been given the captaincy to the Discipline team s like Cricket and Kabaddi in inter-college fests. Its a very proud moment to disclose that I and my team have been winning the inter-college Sports League since 4 years. Also been the champions for 2 years. My enthusiastic approaches in new software researches and implementations have always inspired me to do more and more in this field. I believe perseverance is a key and I do hold it in my principles. I want to make some ground-breaking researches in these fields by increasing my knowledge and deeply immersing into the subject. I have an urge in Development and Designing and so I am deeply interested in fields like Web Designing and Development, Big Data, Information Security, Software Testing and Quality Assurance. I love designing User Interfaces for programs and applications. I prefer making logics and algorithms for modules and these I believe has helped me in getting more engaged in this field.

Owing to this I will like to apply for "Lakehead University" for Masters in Computer Science. The Master’s degree will not only push my knowledge in the latest technologies but also accelerate in the computing world to match up with today's IT industry requirements. On discovering, I found that “Lakehead University” is one of the well-recognized and reputed universities in Canada. The glorious propensity of this university encouraged me to apply in the Professional Graduate Program of University of Windsor. It provides various efficient disciplines under the Computer Science program. I am strongly interested in Master of Applied Computing (MAC) would be highly delighted if I get a chance to study my aspired course at your esteemed university.
