The state of California, the state in which Adobe is located has over the years has suffered huge budget deficit and unavoidable over spending and consequently increased government spending is often at the expense of private sector spending and is therefore potentially harmful to some forms. Increased government spending may mean higher taxes and higher taxes reduce the ability of customers to purchase goods and services, which is likely to reduce consumer spending.

Consumers on the other hand may be more tempted to pirate Adobe’s already pricey products. Increased pirating is responsible for depressing software development profits. With the introduction of new technological trend such as three dimensional film and video and Adobe’s position as a leader in media creation puts Adobe in a precarious position because if this product fails to impact the market and become a worthy source of media consumption the adobe’s reputation would be put in the spotlight. However, if Adobe shows excessive caution it can also prohibit Abode from the advantage it has long held of being the first to establish and introduce new products in the media market.
