Possible Outcomes Of Missing Respect
Respect means having high regard or giving attention to someone or something. There is absolutely no way any society could ever function without respect because without respect there is no trust. If someone respects you, you have the option to be yourself without the risk of humiliation, criticized or even assaulted. To get respect you must give respect and respect is a way for societies to remain stable even with different views of life. Respect makes people happy, feel safe, be disciplined, etc. Respect guides the way for a good life but isn’t easy to obtain.
For a society to work properly we need to master respect. Respect goes a long way no matter where it is a business, a company, and even world leaders. If our world leaders do not have respect for each other than wars would be started and might even start up World War 3. No one wants another world war but if respect between our leaders is lost then we are all doomed. We can see this in today’s current events between the United States of America and North Korea. Trump and Kim Jong Un lack the respect of one anothers country and rights, I am not saying I agree with Kim’s actions or how he treats his people but we still need to respect them so that a war doesn’t break out and hundreds of thousands maybe even millions of lives are lost.
Terrorists are another problem because they do not respect anyone but themselves and prove that by taking innocent lives whether that be by suicide bombing or massive shootings, because of their actions I don’t believe they deserve respect and they will never have a successful society because of their hatred towards western civilizations and other countries. If terrorists would stop doing violent acts that lead to the loss of innocence lives and show respect then they could join society, be civil, and have a successful way of life instead of dying over and over again for a group of terrorist that believe they can win but will never win.
If you own a business then respect is everything because if you respect other businesses yours will go a long way. In a business it is also very important to respect your investors and consumers because the customers always right.
The law is something everyone should respect no matter where you are or who you are, before going to a foreign country you should research that country’s laws so that you don’t break them and end up in jail in a different country with different consequences. In the United States of America even the President has to abide by the rules and in some other countries around the world that's not the case, such as North Korea whose oppressive and misleading dictator can do anything to anyone, anytime, and anywhere without no one there to tell him no. Without laws society would crumble and without people respecting the law society would crumble.
If respect was something everyone had the fear of bullying would be non-existent and a lot of wars probably never would of happened. Society would also be way more civilized, to be respectful you must be responsible for your actions, think before doing even if that means forgiving something that you may have found offensive. Respect is missing in everyone's everyday life from politics, media, and our communities. Disrespect should not be glamorized and speaking your mind shouldn’t come at the expense of others. Respect should not be optional it should be mandatory in places like your work, the political arena, our families or even schools.
