Problems Of Pollution & Environmental Protection
In our everyday life we have contact with pollution and trash that has been unproperly disposed of everyday. Every day many plant and animal species become extinct from the harsh effects of air pollution and many do not even realize it. People are guilty of contributing to the daily forms of pollution although later they suffer the terrible affects. Pollution, such as smoke from factory chimneys, sewages, burning of fossil fuels and daily commuting of individuals cause many ecocatastrophes. For example: acid rains, ozone hole, whirlwind, hurricanes, floods which are due to melting glaciers, intense smog and loss of species. Very often people don’t realize that they are devastating their own world as they live in it.
By developing industrial processes people have much smaller chances to drink clear water, to eat healthy food and to breath fresh and clean air. The fast lifestyle results in many diseases due to the overwhelming amounts of smog and air toxins. We are slowly killing each other one day at a time and corporate factories and businesses could care less. We should be more responsible as human beings and pay more attention to the world of plants and animals around us. Perhaps the easiest thing to do would be to stop cutting out trees in a thoughtless way in our cities, prevent large corporations from dumping waste into our waters and clear out all smoke stacks located in factories. Although this sounds promising, it is nearly impossible with the lifestyle we have become so comfortable with.
Our environment is an inseparable part of our life. We are depended on it and we must adjust to survive on Earth and to even allow our Earth to survive. From an economic point of view, protecting environment entails huge expenses and budget outlays for our country. Also, terms in which should be kept to keep the effect of protection, do not allows for developing many of the most profitable branches of industry. However, this action can get a lot of workplaces and prospective corporations unemployed. As long as there would be people preferring to live in agreement with environment, any actions with aim of improving it took by governments, would meet with approval and praise. Nevertheless, not everyone would back it up, and the dissatisfied of part of society is unavoidable.
Protecting environment also do a lot of good for our health status. Nature conservation effects on extension animals, birds and plants existence. Furthermore, uncontaminated water and air allows people to stay healthy. In conclusion, I think protecting environment and staying in touch with nature makes life more valuable and lets to live in complete happiness. We cause most of the pollution and we will suffer the consequences if we don’t stop. We are already seeing its effects in the form of global warming, contaminated seafood, increased cases of lung diseases and more. When will it be enough for people to realize that this catastrophic behavior should stop?
