Remember That Actions Speak Louder Than Words

The actions you make are more important than words because, without actions, promises can fall empty. Actions can also show your determination through your work and history. Have you ever heard a phrase “actions speak louder than words”? This is what we're going to discuss in this essay, so let's continue.

Actions speak louder than words because without actions, the words, and promises you say fall empty and meaningless. When you make a promise and do not follow through, you can give the other person false hope leading to mistrust. For example, in the Bible, Peter promises Jesus he will not deny knowing him, but when the time arrived, he denied him three times out of fear and persecution. Peter’s promise was broken when his actions weren’t loyal to his words. Another example of promises or goals that we can break is New Year's Resolutions. When we set New Year’s resolutions, we set a goal, but without action, the words fall empty. If you don’t follow through and continue this pattern of broken goals and promises, people will have a hard time trusting you, and you will not trust yourself and your determination. With these examples and others, you can see how broken promises can lead to broken trust or bad patterns.

People can talk the talk, but can they walk the walk. Their actions are more important than words, which can fall short. When we are determined, it shows through our actions, not our words. For example, when investigators or lawyers say they are the best and say they are determined, you won’t know unless you see their work, determination, and actions. When you have a hard job to do, you do it. You don’t say you will and then never do it because it shows you aren’t determined and you have a hard time following through. When you are not determined and don’t take action then there will be consequences; in your life, and the ones who were depending on you and your work.

Last, but not the least, sctions speak louder and are more important than words. Actions show your determination and prove you can be trusted, and the words and promises you make, won’t fall through empty. I know that actions are more important than words because, when I make a promise, I know I have to keep my promise because it shows that I can walk the walk and stay determined. You have to be able to show (by your actions) that you can keep your word, stay determined, and be trustworthy. Through your actions, you can express more, and show people what you want to show them, whether it be through your career, friendship, or promise-keeping.
