Review Of The Book The Mystery Of Flight 2222 By Thomas Neviaser: The Story Of Survival, Hunger And Fear
The Mystery of flight 2222 by Thomas Neviaser is a twisted book full of mystery, drama, and action. This book is very interesting and the story keeps surprising you with twists and turns.
It’s a story about survival, hunger and fear. The interesting thing about this book is that it starts off with a very different story and with each chapter the story keeps changing. The end is totally unpredictable and kind of shocking.
It’s a story about a group of nine people, who board an airplane to Argentine. Two of those nine passengers, seated next to each other, start playing a game where they have to choose seven people and guess their name, age, personality and profession. After a few hours, the plane crash lands into the sea due to some mechanical problem. Everyone on board dies except those two passengers who were playing the game and the seven people they picked. Stranded in the sea on a raft, not knowing if they will ever be rescued. Running short on food, surrounded by sharks in the middle of nowhere, waiting for the help they lose track of time. The crazy sea, rough waves and pirate attacks everything keeps going worse for them.
What I like about this book is that it kept my curiosity piqued. Just when I thought their misery is going to end, a new event caught my attention by surprise and left me jaw dropped. This is a mind boggling book and the end is so very unpredictable. If you are someone who likes good ending then this is not the book for you. The ending is the beginning of a new misery. Their salvation is just the beginning of their trip to hell. Will they ever find a way out? Will they ever be rescued? Will they be able to survive under these harsh conditions? Read this book to find out. I loved this book and I would give it 2 out of 4 stars. I am not giving it 3 stars as I don’t like the ending. But overall, it’s a good book.
Plane crash, sharks, rough sea, hunger and pirate attacks is what makes this story fascinating. It just feels like you are watching a movie. The writer should have come up with a good ending. In the end, the writer gives an explanation of why all this happened to these nine chosen passengers. I don’t find the author’s reasoning for this never ending misery fair. I think these passengers didn’t deserve all this. I was expecting a better ending.
