Service Stations: Developing a Successful Business Plan

For our business assignment we prepare a business plan for a service station. There were 6 members in our team and we got along quite well throughout the proceedings of the assignment. It was quite challenging to work in a group as the members put in their own different opinions and thoughts. We had to take into consideration all the members ideas in order to not cause any problems. Some of the ideas we had were just too impractical. We talked about each other and differentiated the impractical idea from the practical ideas. With that we were able to gain a common ground into what we should do to get the maximum benefits from this assignment.

It was quite hard for us to prepare a business plan for the service station because we had to go out in order to prepare the necessary stuff to get our project ready we did what we could and did the project to the best of our abilities. There were 6 members in our group and I took the leadership role. It wasn't easy talking with everyone and taking all the opinions into consideration in order to prepare the best possible business plan.

I tried my best to keep the members of my group involved as much as possible so that they don't feel left out. This was probably the biggest project that I did as leader and it was both tiresome and also rewarding. I really love we experience it gave me and I can't wait to do something like this again. I was very blessed to have a team like this who supported me in every single step of the way. I hope that I was a good leader for them independent new members too.

I personally learnt a lot from this group assignment and that there are Lots more for me to learn. Going our doors and doing the assignment was pretty challenging and I learnt that my knowledge about this subject is not as proficient as I hoped. So I should work on it more so that I can get a profound subject knowledge about business planning. If I ask myself what could I have done differently I would say

1. I could have start at the assignment a bit earlier because at the end we ran out of time.
2. I could have done better to be a better leader so that I could have motivated my members to do a better job.
3. I couldn't learn a bit more about this subject so that our assignment would have gone a bit more smoother so this is a short description about the challenges we have to place while doing the assignment, and I must say that it was an honour working with my member and I had a lot of fun while doing so.

This assignment increased my subject knowledge, and give me a good exposure to the world of business planning.
