Same as the other professions’ teachers are responsible to the whole society because they are shaping future leaders in a country. They undergo a period of specialized training to become a qualified, licensed teacher. Additionally, every teacher needs to engage in ongoing effective professional development to enhance their knowledge and skills to address students' main learning challenges. Because of how well teacher’s engagement in training affects the students learning achievement. Teachers have limited autonomy when compare with the other professions because they can’t refuse to teach students as per their choice. In regardless of gender, race, religion they have to be fair to each and every student. But, teachers are free to adapt various suitable teaching methods even though the curriculum used is determined by others. There is a code of ethics for teachers and it is to protect the rights of all the students and every teacher is aware when they obtain their profession and agreeing to follow the ethics. Whatever the expertise in the particular subjects which teachers have can be measured by certificates, grades, and experience but there are more abstract qualities which can’ be measured such as “soft skills” which help them to be effective teachers. But this type of quality can be developed over time to help teachers to connect with students, colleagues, and parents.

Therefore, soft skills are a mixture of qualities that how to interact with others, communicate with each other, balance the attitude, habits, adjust to the working environment, and have a vast influence overall. These skills are such as communication skills ( written and oral), professional ethics, critical thinking, collaborative skills, leadership skills, lifelong learning, and so on.
Teachers talk and deal with a variety of people everyday Oral and written communication for receiving and distributing information effectively. If a teacher is not able to communicate effectively may convey a wrong message to the listener and end up the conversation with confusion. To work as a team or work collaboratively for teachers because teachers’ work involves everyone in the school such as security, IT, administers, cleaners, paramedic, another teacher, assistant principal, and, headmaster. Ethics and ethical practice should be applied to teachers’ day-to-day life because without self-discipline it is difficult for teachers to be ethical. Teachers' behavior is closely observed by students and they take teachers as role models. When teachers think critically they are able to evaluate action, ideas, and plans. These skills encourage teachers to analyze problems logically. In the education field, teachers are the leaders not with the classroom, among his or her colleague, society, and the nation. Teachers have to learn continuously to stay up to date for the changes happening in educational development. Lifelong learning involves searching for information, receiving and accepting new ideas, and developing new knowledge.
