The Difference Between Baptist And Church Of Christ

Introduction

A church is a dedicated building used for religious activities mainly for Christian worship service. Churches were not built when the early christains arrived. They normally gathered in their homes to worship. But nowadays Christianity Has taken to a new step and different churches, ways of preaching and other things have been brought out. The church is for worship and nothing else, we come in one mind and spirit to pray to God and for him to bless us in his name.

Baptist Church

The Baptist and the worshippers are willing to renounce theri theological root in favor of if a biblical truth have been discovered. A bapstist believes that no one should be bapatised until they are old enough. Baptism started long ago but there are different origins that set to define and know about baptism. 100million identified as Baptist or belong to baptist church and with this fact baptism is quite different from others. Most baptist do not believe that baptism is a requirement of salvation but an inner repentance and faith with a public expression. As a baptist you must have a free mind in professing your faith and their faith is linked wholly to God and themselves. A bapstist Christian always make voluntary contribution towards helping and this is one of their ways of life.

As a baptist you are entitled to views that you might see unfit but with time you can see changes and it will be if great effect to you. Some churches under baptism believe in fully immersing of the whole body into the water while some others just sprinkle. Some Baptistt believed greatly in Bible while some do not believe greatly in it.

There are two kinds of Baptist:

1. General Baptist
2. Particular Baptist

General Baptist

Just like every Christains, the Baptist believed in full atonement and they also believed that Christ died for us and so we should fully believe him and whoever believes in him will be saved. Your sin will be forgiven and you will live a great life. London was the last place where the Baptist Church in general poured out and till now is still great, the Europe sector, the United States etc. They also believed generally that is possible for someone to fall from Grace and loose his salvation. This believe is true to them because once you accept their teachings on the study of God and Christaindom then they take Christ and if eventually they fall off, they believe that they will loose their salvation but for other Baptist and Christains, loosing your salvation can still be woken back to you. You can still loose it and get it back if you feel remorseful and pray to God.

Particular baptist

The particular Baptist believed only In one thing attonement too, but for their own attornment they said Christ died for only a particular group or elect, they were influenced by the teaching's of john Calvin and they came into being a generation after the general Baptist. Their believe is different, saying is by elect all there believes are based in. They are emerged from the independent congregation out if the separatist which is guided by the church of England.they taught believer’s baptism by immersion and insisted that a person who is once saved is always saved and there is no two ways about it. Many Christians see their believes as very tricky as the bivke said that God loves his children and he died for us all and so not for a particular group. They argeued this with their saying that Christ died for those who are true but we all are sinners and so Christ died for us to be saved fully.

Church of Christ

The church of Christ practice in the new testament and their views are mind blowing because the new testament is believed with the great doctrine and so their whole teaching's is based on the sole rule of faith and practice in deciding matters of doctrine and ecclesiastical structure. All this they believe in through the new testament. Churches of Christ always have this autonomous and self governing body that they believe In which they believe is perfect and they practice what they know and they are part in the first century church and they do not use musical instruments, they forbid the use of instruments played In church. They avoid attonement because they say it as just a speculative. Speculative which is just what someone says or is written but for what everything to be in practice. Salvation is a fee gift from God provided that they attorn to Christ and the Lord and personal savior.

There is also one thing they have in common with the baptist is based on salvation, they believe that you can loose your salvation and can't get it back. But some other Christians do not believe that because our salvation comes from the Lord and so when we fall out of it and cry to God he will answer and regain it back with good intentions In your heart because salvation is grace and with this the Christ Church also view faith as a rational act done personally but with the view that the individual accepts the biblical Truth of Christ.

Their beliefs are quite different because many do not see this as pure Christian perspective.bthey believe that there is only one church and that is the church Jesus started on the day of Pentecost in Jerusalem. Everything they do is traced back to the church Jesus sided from the beginning. They do have elders in their church and these elders see the day to day activities of the church feeding the congregation. The Bible is their oy source and the teachings are the doctrine they follow.

They are much difference between Baptist and church of Christ:

Church of Christ:

1. They believe that water is essential for Christ salvation
2. They do not believe the baptism is a symbol of death and resurrection
3. Church of Christ do not accept music instruments
4. Christs do not see faith as a personal commitment
5. Christs do not believe that the Bible teaches salvation and do not depend on membership in a particular church.

Baptist Church:

1. Baptists believe that water is essential for Christ salvation
2. Baptists accept music instruments in praising and worshipping God.
3. Baptists believe that the Baptism is a symbol of death and resurrection, burial.
4. Baptists believe in the Bible teachings fully and say that salvation depends on membership in a particular church, you can't become a member without having faith and salvation
5. They say faith as a personal commitment.

With this you can see how Baptist and church of Christ or Christ Church practice their own Christianity. Baptist Church is fully baptism and they see water as sign of new creation which is quoted in the Bible and also the Lord's supper is a symbolic act of obedience to them, encouraging missionary and evangelistic work under the teaching's of Jesus. The church Christ is just an opposite of Baptist Church and is more practiced than the baptiist church. Moreover there are archaist who do not believe in God and in the teaching's of any church. Having their own mindset about things of the world and do not believe. The baptist are strong supporters of religious doctrine.

We all belong to one particular line of doctrine of teachings. The baptist and the church if Christ only have one thing in common which is they believe that salvation can be brought down if not taken care of. The Holy Spirit is the one that helps us get through things in life and for this faith stands out. The church of Christ, it is the collective reference to the people of God in the world — people who follow the New Testament teaching regarding the church.
