It is an indication of the importance of patience and the need for the strong that the believer fluctuates in the world between the two conditions either good times or thanks to him proceeds to patience. The Prophet (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) said: “surprisingly, the order of the believer is that his whole thing is good and that is not for anyone except the believer”. Narrated by Muslim.

Patience has virtues:

  1. The great reward in the Hereafter the Almighty said: but the patient pay their wages without calculation. Sufyan Al-thawri said: but pay as much patience.
  2. The love of God Almighty said: God loves the patient.
  3. Paradise for those who have patience in the scourge in the world Ata ibn Abi Rabah said: Ibn Abbas said to me: not to show you a woman of the people of Paradise I said: Yes. He said: This black woman came the Prophet peace be upon him and said: I fast and I reveal God claimed to me said that if you want patience and Paradise, and if you want to call God to recover and said patient I said that I disclose so ask Allah not to reveal her. agreed. One of the greatest benefits of patience is the integrity of God's law, the stability of religion and the caution of bad conclusion and prevention of deviations and safety from evil.

Patience has three types:

The first: patience to perform obedience so that the reward is calculated in its act and be patient on its hardship and perform it on the legitimate face and lasts to do the Almighty said: O sons of the most prayers and I am ordering the known and it is forbidden. The Prophet (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) was patient for the hardship of the night, so he would stay long until his feet broke his fast and his mother Aisha, may Allah be pleased with him, said: Do I not be a slave thank you.

Second: Patience for committing a sin of God so that the labors desires and the devil and endures hardship leaving the familiar and avoid the corruption and his family of God Almighty said: and those who are patient seeking their Lord and establish prayer and spend of what We have given them secretly and openly, covering bad with good for them is a penalty house.

The patience of Prophet Yusuf peace be upon him for committing adultery when seduced by the Aziz woman and met him the reasons for lust and facilitate her and the sergeant was absent patience great for the strength of his faith and evoke the observation of God and shy from God above him to fall into obscene and protect him from vice.

Third: Patience on the painful fates so that endures their difficulties and their implications and avoid all the words and deeds that angry with the Lord Almighty said. The Prophet (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) said: 'The bone of the penalty is with the bone of affliction. Narrated by al-Tirmidhi. The believer will not be rewarded for his patience unless the reward from God is calculated to be sure that God has foreseen this calamity for a great wisdom to plague him and test his faith and raise his degree and atone his disadvantages and that if he is patient, God rewarded him with reward in the Hereafter. And enters in the impatience to leave the complaint of the scourge to other than God because the complaint to the creature humiliating and contrary to the meaning of patience and lack of trust and the Prophet Job peace be upon him when he complained to his Lord with his prayers in the payment of harm to him by saying: And Job, when his Lord called that I touched the harm, and thou have mercy on the merciful, God praised him as patience and said: I found him patient. Sufyan AL-thawri said: three of the patience does not occur with your misfortune or pain and do not recommend yourself.

Patience on the calamity is a duty to satisfy the poor judiciary is desirable and not the duty of most scholars said Omar bin Abdul Aziz: The satisfaction is the status of dear or impervious, but God made in patience count well. Ibn Taymiyyah said: Satisfaction with calamities such as poverty, disease and humiliation is desirable in one of the two scholars and not a duty has been said that it is a duty and correct that duty is patience.

This is because satisfaction is a matter of patience, so that the plague is not detestable to the occurrence of calamity. Of the scenes of sincerity Almighty said: Say that my prayers and hermits and life and my death to God the Lord of the Worlds. The Prophet (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) used to say: O Allah, I ask you satisfaction after the elimination.

Ibn Rajab said: (Patience on obedience and taboos is better than patience on the painful fates said that the predecessor, including Saeed bin Jubair and Memon bin Mahran and others has been narrated with a weak support from the hadeeth of Ali raised: It is written by six hundred degrees and that patience for the sins is written to him by nine hundred degrees.

The people in the position of patience four categories:

The first category: Who is patient to obey God and patient about the disobedience of God and this is the highest varieties, which is the case of the prophets, friends and saints, Ibn Battal said: You see saying peace be upon him: you will not give a good and broader patience.

The second category: Who is patient to obey God for this persevering on the statutes and does not patient about the disobedience of God committed abominations This is unjust to himself and does not enter into the great credit for patience.

The third category: Who is patient for sin does not obscure obsceneness to His Highness himself from vices and do not be patient to obey excesses in the statutes this offensive is on the brink of destruction and bad conclusion.

The fourth category: Who does not be patient to obey God and leave the statutes and do not be patient for disobedience to God overwhelmed obscene This evil varieties have sold his religion of the world and subjected to the indignation of God and His torment and this is the case of immorality.

Many people are able to do obedience and persevere in them, but he is not patient about committing sins and inherent in the weakness of his faith and the predominance of passion for his actions and his companionship for the people of inattention and ignorance of the legitimate meanings and lack of piousness.

The Prophet (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) said: 'The immigrant who abandoned what Allah forbade him from.' Narrated by al-Bukhaari. Maimon ibn Mehran Said: (patience patience patience to calamity is good and better than that patience for sin).

One of the greatest forms of patience is the worship of fasting because it has met all three types of patience. The Prophet (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) called the month of Ramadan a month of fasting.

The believer's need for patience is great, because the world is over the worries, sorrows and calamities and filled with strife. His only concern is the beautiful patience and the complaint to Allaah Subhanahu wa Ta'ala: Patience is beautiful and Allaah is assisting you with what you describe. The beautiful patience is the one that does not complain and do not panic and the Almighty said: (but I complain and sorrow to God and know from God what you do not know.

It is a citizen in which patience is manifested and maximizes its usefulness lost loved ones, it is hard for a person to lose dearly tenth time and attached to him and a thousand affection and many of the weak of faith loses patience in this calamity and alarmed and does not stop his forbidden things from the departures and screaming and cracking clothes and therefore stressed the street on the believer In this matter because there is an objection to the destiny of God and poor literature with God and weakness of certainty has said the Prophet peace be upon him: not from us hit the cheeks, or slit pockets, or called on the pretext of ignorance.

The believer receives the good of the world and the hereafter with the help of patience and prayer Almighty said: and use patience and prayer. If the believer ceases incest and performs the obligatory prayers, he will have the mercy and patience of Allah and receive the upper houses of the religion with patience. The Almighty said: (And we made them imams who guide us when they are patient). Sufyan bin Uyaynah said: When they took the head of the matter we made them heads.

There are reasons to be patient and strengthen:

First: Reflection on the virtue of patience and the great reward in the Hereafter the Almighty said: (He who fears and be patient, God does not waste the reward of those who do good.

Secondly: Reflection on the severity of the agony on the Day of Resurrection For those who are over-impatient and followed the same lusts Abdul Rahman bin Mohammed Al-Qari said: sat down one day to increase the sire of Ibn Abbas said to me: O Abdullah said: What you want said: What is paradise and fire. No, and God is nothing but paradise and fire, he said: 'There is a house between them that the servants will bring down.'

Third: strengthen modesty from God, how disobeying the slave master, who created and guided him and distinguished him from other creatures and how to use the blessings of God that God has given him in his transgressions Ibn al-Qayyim said: The Lord is blessed and exalted to seek the help of His transgressions by His grace and bring out great things, but the benefits: keep faith and caution against haram. Sixth: Love and fear of God The love of God carries the believer to patience and obedience and fear to bear patience for sin and calamity, whenever the strong fear and love strong patience, Omar bin al-Khattab may Allah be pleased with him: Yes, the servant Suhaib if God did not hide the disobedience. The sincere lover agrees with the love of his beloved and does not violate his will.

Seventh: meditation on the patience of the prophets and the righteous and take the lesson and social mobilization Elan says: I said it was in their stories a lesson for men of understanding what was blasphemed but to believe that his hands and detailing everything, and guidance and mercy for those who believe. He contemplates the patience of the prophet Job on the scourge and the patience of the prophet Joseph for sin and the patience of the seal of the prophets Muhammad to call for God and endure hardships and harm for God.
