With the development of modern life, the car has become an indispensable mean of transportation in our life. Even though most cities have fairly advanced transportation systems like the bus and Skytrain, they tend to be extremely crowded, especially in the peak hour. It means people might be late for work or miss some important appointment. However, if they drive the car, those problems may well be avoided. To my belief, driving is vital, but not necessary, and it is dangerous for the rookie. In addition to this, the exhaust from cars will pollute the fresh air.
The survey indicates that a certain percentage of accidents are caused by teenagers. The youth are thought to lack a sense of responsibility so that they might not be absolutely responsive to the importance of obeying traffic laws. However, if I drive, I have to find a parking place, and the parking fee is not cheap in downtown. So it is hard to say driving is good or not.
