The film Hello love goodbye released in 2019 is a drama romance which features a girl working as an overseas filipino worker in hongkong to provide for her family with the hope and aspirations of migrating in to Canada which later on fell in love with a charismatic guy that works as a bartender as he was waiting for his residency to be approved. In the movie, it was shown that the female protagonist is working overseas as a domestic helper despite being a nursing degree holder to have a better life for herself and for her family. As per the filipinos are considered to be family oriented. They value their family so much and considered it as their greatest asset. Later on in the film she meets the male protagonist, a charming bartender who was waiting for his residency to push through. And eventually become friends then turned into lovers. But then the female protagonist wanted more for herself, she dreams about a life where she could provide for her family and practice the degree she worked hard for. She worked so hard to be able to create a choice for herself. she deserves to put herself first, she deserves to dream, and most importantly she deserves to love.
Overseas filipino workers are regarded as the modern heroes of our country, they are not just working for their families but representing the whole nation of the Philippines as they are one of the biggest contributor to the growth of our economy.
