The Way Good Habits Can Lead to Longevity

With the accelerating pace of life, everyone in the society has their own pursuit, but they ignore the cultivation of healthy living habits fewer and fewer people are living longer. Some people believe that the length of life is related to genes. Others believe that an individual's lifestyle will affect his or her longevity. In my opinion, people have different living habits. A healthy lifestyle will be good for preventing diseases and prolonging life.

Admittedly, genetics may play a role in how long you live, but actually the acquired habits play a major role. Even if you have good genes, you won't live long if you have a bad lifestyle and eating habits, such as smoking, drinking, and staying up late. There are some reasons why good habits are important for a long life.

First and foremost, good eating habits will give your body enough nutrition. On the contrary, improper diet, excessive nutrition or insufficient nutrition, will bring different degrees of harm to health. Just having good genes doesn't mean you get enough nutrition. Eating more fruits and vegetables is good for your heart. They can protect the heart and reduce the risk of heart disease. If you eat meat and vegetables every day, eat some fruits before meals, and eat every three meals on time, such a good lifestyle will definitely keep you healthy. The study found that genetics accounted for only 25 percent of health and longevity, with the rest affected by lifestyle. Try not to eat Fried food, because it will increase our fat. Obesity can lead to a variety of diseases, such as fatty liver and high blood pressure, so weight control is important to delay aging. On the other hand, it's rare to see people who drink and smoke regularly live longer because they already have too many harmful substances in their bodies. Those who abstain from smoking, however, tend to live longer. So we can fully imagine how much a good lifestyle affects us.

Second, a regular schedule will also affect your lifespan, because it will improve your body's immunity and keep your body functioning well enough to fight off disease. For example, try not to stay up late, go to bed early and get up early every day, and do some exercise in the morning. People who can insist on this good lifestyle will have longevity. An acquired and good lifestyle is the key to longevity. Keeping doing exercise is also a good behavior, it will improve our metabolism and help our bodies to keep healthy. In addition, another aspect of life that determines longevity is attitudes and ways of living, and attitudes towards disease. Optimistic people, coupled with a long healthy life, are able to cope with illness and live longer. People who die young, such as those who live to 50, must have died of some illness. And these diseases are closely related to the way we live, so an unhealthy lifestyle will definitely affect our lifespan.

In conclusion, some people are hale at 90, some people are sickly at 50. One thing that determines longevity is genes, and there's no way to change them. On the other hand, we have the ability to change our life attitude and way. We should develop good living habits and not destroy them. In this way, more people will live a long life and pass on the good genes to the next generation to guide them to keep good behaviors.
