Assessing the Success of the French Revolution

French Revolution was supposed to succeed in abolishing new leaders and creating a stable government to solve all of their problems.
The French Revolution was not successful because they failed to establish a constitutional monarchy and a representative government. They could’ve avoided the French Revolution because hundreds of thousands of people were dead and their economy, finance, and capital went downhill. So Instead of having French Revolution, they could use force to deal with the rebellious Third Estate. “The French Revolution was a failure because of the abolishing of new leaders, the massacres brought upon France, and the inability to create a stable government and solve their problems.”
The French Revolution completely changed the social and political structure of France. It put an end to the French monarchy, and feudalism, and took political power from the Catholic church. That was good but they used the political power in the wrong way, they made the french go into debt, and they made the taxing too much. If they never took the power from the church then there would not be any taxes required. “According to conventional wisdom, the Ancien Régime's taxation regime was excessive, inefficient, and unfair. It was excessive because France had become one of the highest taxing states in Europe, chiefly because of its warmongering, growing bureaucracy, and high spending.”
One of the goals of the French Revolution was to make people equal but was never achieved. Instead of making the people equal it made the lower class harder and the higher class easier because the higher class got more food and freedom. While the lower class struggled to get food and didn’t have complete freedom. The lower class had to become higher-class slaves in order to get a little bit of food so they can survive. “The French revolution was unable to attain constant protection for the lower class, unchanging prices of bread and food for commoners, complete freedom and rights for slaves within the French colonies, and equality and complete freedom for the common populace of France.”
In the final analysis, was the french revolution successful? No, it was not. Instead of success, it was a disaster. The French were hoping for equality, better government, and fraternity. But what they got instead was worse equality, not a stable government, and people don’t respect each other's rights. In fact, some of them argued, and fought, it got really violent and bloody. So if French Revolution never happened then it would probably be a better place and better equality, and better government, many people wouldn’t be dead, and they wouldn’t be in debt. “The Enlightenment put France on the path to change even without the revolution, so both France and Europe would have been a much better place had the revolution not occurred. France was rich and populous before it and would have been a better rival to the UK without it.”
