Why Environmental Protection is a Global Imperative

In this essay, I will focus on how we can do that.

Firstly, as a student, I can protect environment by making sure to throw garbage in its basket and trying as much as possible to separate my trash and put each type in the basket where it belongs so for example, I should put cans in metals trash basket. I can also try to be a good citizen and a role model for others, especially family members and friends as by doing that I may affect them, for example, if my younger brother sees me throwing trash in its basket, he will know that this is what should we do and he will and it is most likely that he will do as I did. I can also start local campaigns to clean areas like beaches, parks and roads or even by planting trees and flowers in these places with cooperation with local authorities such as the local municipality and the Public Works Authority and even my school administration which I am sure that they welcome such ideas. Another way to involve people and convince them to help protecting our environment is social awareness campaigns social that include banners and regulations to tell people that it is a social responsibility. We can also make short videos to show what may happen if we do not protect our environment, we can for example create short cartoon films to show how our society would be if the environment was damaged and not preserved and publish these films through social media. One last strict way is looking for places where people do not follow environmental laws and report this issue to the responsible authority so they can fix it or apply more strict supervision and fines specially that environmental laws are very easy to follow like throwing garbage in trash basket or not fishing in wrong places and the government did everything to help us to follow these laws.

Environment is a main part of our life and we must preserve it, not just for us but also for our next generations and we can simply achieve that by cooperation and if everyone starts with them-selves, bit by bit, we may not see someone who ignores environment laws or harm the nature.
