Why I Consider Justin Bieber To Be A Hero

A hero is a person who is admired or idealized for courage, outstanding achievements, or good deeds/morals. A hero is also someone you can look up to as an inspiration. The Greeks considered a hero to be a man or women of special strength, courage, or ability. They were usually of divine ancestry and noted for superhuman acts.

My hero is Justin Bieber, he is a singer/songwriter who was discovered by Scooter Braun in 2008. Scooter Braun watched one of Justin's videos on Youtube, and new he knew Justin had an outstanding voice and talent so, he contacted him, and later he became his manager. Now Justin is an international singer/songwriter who has won 57 awards and has been nominated 107 times. Justin Bieber's mom, Patricia Lynn or “Pattie” got pregnant with Justin when she was just 18 years old, Justin's parents got divorced when he was just 2 years old which made him a stronger person. Patricia’s mom and dad helped Pattie raise Justin. Justin kept contact with his dad but did not see him much. Justin's dad got remarried and had 2 kids. As Justin grew he had interest in playing hockey, chess and soccer. He also taught himself how to play the piano, guitar, drums and the trumpet.

To begin, Justin Bieber is a hero, but not just because he is a good singer or dancer, but because he has helped many charity cases. He has done charity concerts to raise money for the Children's Miracle Network Hospitals, he has also donated his hair to people with cancer. He also has supported organ donation. Justin gave $500, 000 to the Make A Wish Foundation and performed a concert for them. He also gave money and supplies to a school in Las Vegas for kids with tough backgrounds. Justin has helped many people during hard times in their lives. Not many people have the heart to help others like he has done. He has taught people to never give up, to fight for what they want and that you can do whatever you put your mind too. I think he is an awesome person because by the age of eighteen he has already accomplished all of these great things. He is also a very talented artist that has accomplished everything he has set his mind to. I learned from him that even the smallest deed counts as something big. That is why I think Justin Bieber is a hero.

Again, Justin Bieber has been the “joke” since his rise to fame in 2009/2010. Almost everyone feels a love or hate towards him with very few people in between. There is the die hard fans that say, “I know everything about him and I love him, ” and then there is the “I know what the media reports about him and it’s not good, so I hate him. ” The thing is, whether you hate him or not, whether you believe you know everything about him or not, there is no denying how inspirational he is when you look at his career and how he’s picked himself back up. Yes, he has his faults but, we all do. Those aren’t being denied, but those have enough attention and reasons many people look up to him tend to be overlooked and unheard of. Unfortunately, as everyone knows, he went through a rough patch in 2013 to 2014. He finally put himself first and took a year long break from his career, which ended up just being a break from media and appearances as he was in the studio almost every night because that is what his passion is.

He put in constant work, distanced himself from people who were not good for him, and found God, which helped him find himself. He came back in 2015 as a better version of himself. He’s still working on himself and still making mistakes of course, because he’s human and we all make mistakes. I never said he was perfect, but I truly look up to his ambition, drive, passion, genuine care, and ability to keep fighting even when all seems lost. His manager Scooter Braun stated, “It’s how you rise from a fall that truly defines you as man. ” His whole life, every move he made was watched and judged by everyone. Almost every person and every celebrity made fun of him, teased him, or insulted him from the moment his name was out there. No matter how harsh or how insulting people were, he often let it go, not even defending himself and never insulting anyone in return, which I find to be very admirable.

Finally, reason he could be is because Justin was not born into fame or money. Justin actually grew up with less than many, he only lived with his mother and she didn't have a very good income. Justin himself with the help of his mom organized and found ways for Justin to perform and learn music and even share his talent with others. Justin wasn't always considered the best, but he put himself out there and he was found by the smallest of chances.

Another reason Justin could be considered a hero is that Justin is an artist that can and will sing live. His acoustic albums have received a ton of awards and his singing talent is what got him famous, which means that Justin could sing before he even took lessons or received good coaching. Justin has also brought many girls onstage with him and backstage to spend extra time with his fans.
