Why I Deserve a Scholarship as a Key Factor of Personal Success
My name is Abraonna Talia Williams, this is 250 word essay on why I deserve a scholarship. I've always believed in the importance of education since I was a child. There are some things about myself that I am certain of, including my insatiable hunger for learning, my passion for dermatology, and my ambition to make a major difference in the lives of others.
During my early years, I came to realize that the only way to make one's life worthwhile is to serve others. Everyone has the right to live their lives to the fullest. Each of us has been given so much originality and integrity that life is the most valuable commodity on the planet. And it has always been my sincere desire to contribute to the preservation of the world's greatest treasure and to the growth of humanity, particularly in the realm of cosmetic health. As a single mom, my mother has encountered numerous personal and professional challenges. Early in my life, she made a promise to do everything in her power to instill in me a love of learning and an appreciation for the value of hard work and perseverance. Despite the fact that money has always been tight, I have been able to spend the time and attention essential to academic achievement thanks to her love and sacrifice over the years. I have maintained a 4.0 GPA since middle school.
In addition to concentrating on my education, I participate in four sports. Volleyball has taken my heart out of the four sports. Volleyball is my favorite sport, despite all of the harsh comments and obstacles I've faced. The clamor of the audience, the bright lights, and the sensation of the ball in my hands. The satisfaction I get from repeatedly proving people wrong. The rush of adrenaline I receive when diving for the ball, the sense of sisterhood I get from my teammates, and the knowledge that we have an unbreakable bond. Furthering my volleyball career has always been a goal of mine since I began playing, and it's finally becoming a reality.
I am deserving of this scholarship, which will assist my mother in paying for my education. If I am chosen for this scholarship, I will continue to put the same effort into my collegiate studies as I have done thus far, prioritizing knowledge and service to others. I will do my best to represent during my college years and beyond. Please accept my sincere gratitude for your time and thoughtfulness.
