Analysis of Classical Music's Effect on Humans

To start with, this is classical music essay where will be discussed its effects on human's brain and emotions. Classical music's roots lies in Egypt. They used classical music to express their culture, society, art and their lifestyle. They created music called cheironomy. Also healing and exorcising poor souls. Alfred A. Tomatis used Mozart's music to cure disorders. And called this technique 'Mozart Effect'. Beside Tomatis, Catherine Ky, Frances Rauscher and Gordon Shaw also worked to prove that Mozart's music improves spatial reasoning. They released the results in Nature.

Emotions

According to study of Southern Methodist University, people who listen classical music while they are writing becomes more emotional and easy to open theirsevles to strangers then the ones who does not. This would help classic music listeners to become more social and friendly and confortable than who does not listen classical music.

Sleeping

People with sleep disorders sleep better while listening to classical music says a study. In order to sleep better music should have low pitches, slow melodies and regular rhytm. This would lead to a better than and positive mood.

Study which have been done in 2006 shows that people who have pain could be relief their pain by listeling music. Music relieves pain, cures your depression and brightens your day.

To sum up one of the classical music essays, nowadays parents usually don't use classical music as the tool for their childrens growth and development. On the ither hand, old Greece and Rome believed that music got people out of jam while Antique Egypt believed that music strengthen the sick people. After the developments of psychiatry at 19 century, scientists started to research biopsychology. This research led scientists to look for new cure technique. Treatment by music was one of them. Result of study thats been published by University of Washington claims that, playing music to babies while play session increases the processing of new speech sounds. Also According to study of Michael Trimble and Dale Hesdorffer, listening music activates right lobe. Which effects emotional experience. Right lobe controls creativity, memory, spatial intellegence, mathematics, language and emotional intellegence. Thus playing music to babies increases their skills. But not every music has the same effect on humans brain - these arguments can be used for future essays on classical music.
