Benefits of Physical Activity for Children

In the benefits of physical activity essay I will shortly explain the main benefits of exercise for children's physical health and general well-being. Exercise for children can improve their physical health/mental health decreasing pain, negative feelings, depression etc and exercise also affects on mood. Exercise is beneficial for making kid’s body healthy & stronger, improving observation skills, their participations at school, sleeping habits and energy levels in body.

If they have a regular based exercise habit they will have good relationships & positive image of body. It will also control child’s emotions. With regular routine of exercises their little bones will become stronger , movement skill development, helps to have a healthy heart and stronger muscles. They will have an appropriate weigh for their body. Doing exercises will develop the heart and will improve their cardiovascular fitness, exercise helps the heart to work well, doing regularly exercises will decrease the risks of heart disease. Doing exercises on regular basis will help losing weigh, improving cholesterol and lower the blood pressure. The heart health develops even with 30 minutes of exercise on regular basis. But the activity should be enough vigorous for the heart rate. Doing the talk and sing test is a good idea, if doing a talk test we are not able to talk that means we are doing hard exercises , if we are able to sing that mean we need more work.

We can consult with doctors and ask what exercises are good for heart health in routine. Exercising will help becoming efficient our muscles of heart & help to pump the blood better. The body tissue including hearts will work better to pull oxygen from blood. Doing exercise will also work for a better blood flowing in the small vessels of blood around hearts. If we have clogs there can make heart attacks.

Exercise based on regular routines will help avoid chronic lung disease, it will develop the lung capacities of a person, develop the blood flowing to the lungs. It will help lungs to carry more oxygen into blood. When a kid is going regular exercise the lungs will work hard to deliver the additional oxygen the muscles will demand. Same as the exercise helps muscles to get stronger, will also help lungs to get stronger and healthy .

Regular exercises will help developing sleeping quality & sleeping duration. It also will bolster sleeping, because it helps you get tired and will reduce the stress. Kids how sleep faster will also sleep for long time. There are 16 % of parents who report their kids don’t sleep faster. There is a strong link between poor sleeping in kids & decreased school performance. The kids who are active during the day timings will fall asleep in less time than the kids who are lazy during the day. So there is a link between rapidly sleeping and hard activities. The scientists explain the value of exercise in kids is not only for keeping them fit, cardiovascular healthy & controlling their weigh but also sleeping.

When we do weigh bearing exercises we are actually forming new bone tissue & that will help building stronger bones. When during physical exercises the muscles are pushing & tugging against the bones, actually that is when bones are getting stronger.

Here are some of the physical weigh bearing exercises names:

  • Doing the walk and running;
  • Doing the jogging;
  • When playing tennis;
  • When playing racquetball;
  • When we are jumping ropes;
  • When we are climbing stairs;
  • When we are jumping on a trampoline;
  • When we play basketball;
  • When dancing;
  • When going for hiking;
  • When we play soccer;
  • When we lift weighs.

 

According to the research, kids who do physical activities on regular basis their social skills are more developed than the kids who are not interested in doing physical activities. Doing physical exercises will also help increase leadership qualities and empathy in kids and these skills will help to maintain healthy life style behaviors. These kids also will be interested in participate in in schools and in other social activities like sports, games, dancing classes  aerobics etc .

To end up, doing physical activities by exercise classes or team sports will help develop physical fitness. Normally the kids who are developing their leadership behaviors and their empathy toward others, these kids will also take care about there own health.
