Cell Phones Should Be Allowed in School

My claim is kids should be able to have phones in school because if there is some type of an emergency then they can call their parents and tell them that I am ok. Another reason is that when your in the halls you could be on your phone and have fun with friends. One last reason why you can have your phone in school is because you can use it for help in math because you can use it as a calculator. This is my claim because I have a phone and I want to be able to use it in school. This is cell phones should be allowed in school argumentative essay where I will discuss this topic. 

One reason that kids should have phones in school is because if there was an emergency then they can call the cops or their parents telling them that your okay. This supports my claim because I want to be able to use my phone in the school for this reason. This is a good reason because there has been a lot of school shootings happening lately. If you escape the school while the school shooting is going on you just call your parents and tell them to pick you up and you can tell them you're fine.

One other reason that I want to have my phone in school is that when we’re in the halls walking to our next class we can just talk to our friends and play on our phones. This supports my claim because that would be so much more fun and that is another reason I want to be able to have phones in school. This will be good because we will have more kids come to our school. We can also communicate better with friends.

The last reason why I think we should be able to have phones in school is because you could use it for school worthy and use it for a calculator for math. This would be a good reason because if your stuck on a math question you can just get on your phone and do it on the calculator. This supports my claim because it can actually be useful for something school related. This is another reason why I want phones in school.

Even though kids might do something bad once on there phones we should be able to have phones in school. Because if someone does something bad the teacher can take the phone away. If we have phones in school we could just ask the teacher if we could be on it. But the school board can make rules about having phones in school.

My counterclaim for kids not being able to have phones in school because if they have phones in school then people can look up bad stuff when they are at school. They can also be texting people in class when they aren’t supposed to. One other reason is because the internet in the school is bad. One last reason is that teachers wouldn’t have to worry about kids doing something there not supposed to do during class.
