Franklin D. Roosevelt Is The Transformative Leader

Franklin D Roosevelt was born as only child to his wealthy parents in the city of New York, and he was highly educated. In 1913 he was declared the assistant secretary of the Us navy. Then Franklin D Roosevelt first became the governor of New York city in 1928. Afterwards Franklin D Roosevelt was the thirty second American president, he served from the year of 1933 until the year of 1945, also known as the year of his death. Franklin D. Roosevelt was the first and last American president to serve for four terms, but he died two years in his fourth term. After his death they changed the law that the president can only serve for two terms. Franklin D Roosevelt who served for 12 years was able to get America out if it’s great depression period. He was able to change their current social, economical, and political status to bring them to the top and to become one of the leading countries again. He enhanced his powers, so he could be able to accomplish more, because America was turning into a globally leading country. He was a loved president because of the problems he fixed for his people and the things he promised for were worked on. That’s why the people loved him and kept voting for him. He loved the radio which made him give speeches on the radio.

Franklin D Roosevelt was the son of James and Sara Roosevelt who were wealthy Americans. He then got sent to Groton a selective school that was for the wealthy American families. After graduating he went to Harvard in the 1900. When he was in Harvard he declared himself Democratic. Franklin D Roosevelt entered law school in Columbia University he attended for two years, but never graduated. He worked for a few years in New York City law firms of Carter, Ledyard, and Milburn, although it was said that he doesn't have a temper for law school. So Roosevelt ran for the state senate from Dutchess County in upstate New York, a region dominated by Republicans although he was a democrat. He was a good candidate because of his name, his family's wealth. In 1905 he married Sara Delano who is president theodore's niece. Between the years 1906 to 1916 he had six children but with one dead as an infant according to “Franklin D. He has taken his fifth cousin Theodore Roosevelt as his model one of the American presidents who got elected during the 1900. Afterwards he started looking towards becoming a president and that’s what he did in the year 1933.

Franklin D Roosevelt was able to reform the country after the depression period. From its bad state that it has reached when it was done with the war. During the depression period he was swiftly aiming to stabilize the country’s economy to put it in a better position the, country also wasn’t in its best situations now. The country needed to rise again. He gave the banks a four day holiday so the people wouldn’t take their money. Franklin D Roosevelt assured the people that their money will be safe in the banks, so the people started to put there money in the banks again, and accordingly the economy could rise again. The remaining workers wages dropped. The factories were shut down, farms and houses went foreclosure. Families got separated so the can go to work to be able to gain money so that they don’t starve. The people became unsatisfied with their president economic policies. Franklin D Roosevelt then came out in a speech and said if he became president he would be able to rescue the country from the disaster they entered in. When he became president he activated his programs in order to help the country in its economic recovery. He then started providing jobs to the unemployed by the new federal projects he made. Also he worked on stabilizing goods prices to ensure the countries stability.

While his administration during World War II he built up the United States authority on the world stage. The triumph over Nazi Germany and its partners in World War II. He initiated the effective wartime union between Britain, the Soviet Union and the United States. On December 7, 1941 Japanese powers attacked Pearl Harbor, Hawaii, causing overwhelming setbacks and extreme harm to the United States. Prior to a Joint Session of Congress on December 8, 1941, President Franklin D. Germany and Italy proclaimed war on the United States on December 11, 1941. Later that day, the United States formally proclaimed that a condition of war existed with Germany and Italy. He helped create peace by helping create the United Nations organization to create peace. He was then able to reform the country and fix it after the tremendous problems it faced.

In conclusion FDR was America's greatest president he was able to bring it out of huge problems it faced. Was able to create programs like the New Deal which is made to help the people of the country. To reform it economically and socially.
