The Responsibility Of A President For His Acts Of Incivility

Every four years in America, we elect a new commander in charge to represent our country. We look for this person to wear integrity, compassion, empowerment, and vision as the face of America. Except what if our leader didn’t have those qualities? We the people, vote for candidates based upon promises in which we believe are important for it may be one step closer to a better society. Leaving a vote to determine who will shape the future of United States of America towards a common goal. Although not every president elected might not be the right choice for our country, when it comes to policy. The question is what actions can make a poor president? In the past two years, America’s climate of racism has been more exposed due to Donald J. Trump’s incivility. “Make America Great Again “is the well-known slogan by our current president, but what exactly does that mean. How is it that most of his supporters are certainly racist and stand entirely for what he says.

Hate groups such as the KKK and Neo-Nazis come out of hiding, appearing in the media and public, which end in some form of violence and racial name-calling. White supremacist members express their hate while also praising Trump and believing he is on his way to “making America great again”. These hate groups support Trump believing that he advocates them from a political point of view. It has been made clear that our president has more so fueled these situations rather than to de-escalate them. President Donald Trump has been a trending topic in the media since he has gone in the office. In 2006, allegations of sexual assault were brought to light by 19 women including his ex-wife, Ivanka Trump. When confronted by these accusations by former People magazine writer Natasha Stoynoff, one of his responses were the women were not attractive enough to sexually assault. This sort of attitude demonstrated his lack of respect for the women and implying that because they are “unattractive”, it wouldn’t be enough for him to sexually assault them.

Later on, it was revealed that his team paid adult film actress Stormy Daniels $130,000 to stay quiet about having sexual relations with Trump. The deal was a non-disclosure agreement managed by his personal attorney Michael Cohen, which he says was ordered by his client. However, Trump denied he had any sexual relations with the actress and paying her the hush money. Of all the accusations that have been brought to President Trumps, he has failed to take some form responsibility for his actions but instead blamed others and remained offensive. The term “think before you speak” is one very known for saying in the world, apparently not for Donald Trump. In his speeches, while delivering his message to the country bigot remarks splurge from his mouth offending millions. While things like Mexican immigrants being called “rapists” who “bring crime and drugs” into the U.S critics respond with outrage. Trump uses language that evidently shows how he feels about other ethnicities and their countries. He has expressed a ban on Muslim countries traveling into the U.S believing they bring terrorism in the country. Calling the following countries such as Haiti, El Salvador and African countries “sh*t-holes” during an immigration meeting. He has criticized NFL players for kneeling during the national anthem protesting racial disparity within the United States, commenting “Wouldn’t you love to see one of these NFL owners when somebody disrespects our flag to say “Get that son of a b*tch off the field”. Suggesting the NFL team owners fire those protesting players for standing up to the inequality in the justice system. In conclusion, Trump uses alternative facts and rhetoric to push a false narrative as part of his agenda to separate the people with racist propaganda.

So far President Donald Trump has demonstrated that anyone in the United States can become president. Degrade women about their looks, urged supporters to beat up protestors at his rallies, called for a ban on Muslims entering the country; sexually assaulting women, and presenting many inappropriate acts. He is not for the people of America or those born outside of it, everyone must feel like they have a fair equal chance regardless of race, sexual orientation, gender, and ethnicity. The president does not take responsibility for his actions in the past or now. The acts of incivility Trump has shown is he that must work on his leadership skills and work ethic when it comes to leading an entire country.
