Hello, Searching for job I came to knew about vacancy of research assistant in your marketing company. I have completed graduation in Project Management and have keen interest to do job as nowadays problems of debt are most common for college students. Some of my skills include Confidence, good communication, organizational skills and good knowledge, capability to engage people using various social media platforms.

Causes of Debt

Main cause of the debt is the increasing cost or the fees in the college, which everyone cannot afford. Moreover, people are more curious to join colleges and universities which provide better education, due to arising competitive field in society. Most of the students want to get better standard and quality of education form reputed, expensive colleges. But fulfilling this expectation they face difficulty to pay fees at the cost of their other expense like healthcare, personal saving, food clothes etc.

Nowadays colleges also can’t fulfil the demands of students through scholarships, awards as education is more expensive. So as to get good education most of the students are helpless and dependent on loans to pay their fees.3. Moreover, due to increased expenditure in day to day life on foods, rents for apartments, travelling long distances, it is quite difficult for students to save money and keep it in account, which is not to be used regularly. This creates situation for students to depend on loans to fulfil their overall expenses.

Solutions

There are some tips for students to avoid college related debts. After college hours, students can continue part time job which can be within college campus or outside. In college, job can be in library, hostels which saves time and expenditure of travelling.

Instead of buying new text books, which are expensive than old or used can be purchased or borrowed from seniors, through online apps like amazon books are available at discount. Moreover, nowadays text information can be obtained through many education websites.

If students live in college hostel then appliances like refrigerator air conditioner, oven, furniture and home utilities can be borrowed instead of purchasing new. If accommodation is outside college then an apartment which is near college and less expensive should be chosen so that money and time can be saved.

It is better to create budget of income from employment, scholarships so that record is made to estimate expenses on cloths, food, books, entertainment and keep some amount in reserve for necessities, which is kept as savings so that situation of taking loan may not arise. 5. Students can open an account or joint credit union which provides facility to write, cash checks, use debit card, easy access to ATM, deposit money and start saving account.
