Life Story Example of Personal Experience
It’s my life essay for students, yes, My Life! I feel like every single time I’m on good terms with my parents it goes downhill. I’ll go to my room after a snack to finish my homework and they’ll yell at me to do the dishes. Anything I say against them would be me “making stupid excuses,” as if I’m not already struggling In school while trying to understand how the world works. It seems as if I can’t do anything unless it satisfies them. That’s no way to live. So lets start my life story essay Introduction.
We are just teenagers. I am seventeen and turning eighteen in 10 months. Wow, I’m just now realizing how big of a deal that is. Soon I’ll be able to say to my parents: “You can’t control me anymore!” I’ll need to start living my life for myself. I remember that the task was to write the story of my life essay 200 words, but I think that it's impossible to share a life story in 200 words! So it will be my life story so far essay, let me continue…
High School. The most life-changing, mandatory thing, for all children who want a decent education. This is when I began to change, become independent, understand the harsh realities of life and for the most part, get used to the social pressures. Honestly, I would have never imagined it to be so fun and overwhelming. The amount of drama I had in my grade ten year was astonishing, the crowds of people “who go and run their mouths” were noticeably bigger than the ones in Junior High. It’s funny how “people change” here. In grade nine I made so many friends, people were nicer. I thought I would’ve been the lonely girl, forever shy (Well, I guess I am still a little shy). I had a big circle of friends and we’d go out together all the time. The second I entered grade ten, the group split and scattered to different schools. It is hard to make new friends now and it definitely does not make me feel good when my parents make fun of me for having a “few friends.” Want I definetely will write in each the story of my life essay is: I think having a smaller group of friends who you trust is more important than having a big group of friends you may not be close to.
My parent’s have always been strict. It’s just their nature as Indian parent’s who were raised by even more strict parents. The thing that is most different in my generation compared to theirs is the constant use of technology. Ever since I was born, I have been surrounded by technology. I do understand the issue with staring at my phone screen every day, trust me even I try to get off it sometimes, but my parents just don’t want to understand the help I get from my phone, the help many teenagers receive. So it also could be story of my life essay about happy family, but it isn't. One day I came home after a difficult chemistry quiz and tried telling my mom I almost cried, I was unable to “put into words” what I wanted to confess, so I stayed quiet.
Mental health is not real for most brown parents if I'm being honest in this story of life essay. If I were to say I need a day off from school because of the workload, oh no! “I’m dramatic.” I just had an anxiety attack, I’m “overreacting.” I guess I’ve been raised in a way in which I don’t necessarily feel comfortable talking about my problems.
This is the main issue that needs to be addressed in short essay about my life. The lack of communication on both sides. My first instinct when my parents say: “she’s another 16 year old girl,” who does terrible things and makes “bad decisions,” is to back talk. My unhealthy defence mechanism. When I don’t know how to figure myself out I blame it on my parents. Though I may not make the best decisions, I am still learning and finding my purpose in life. No matter how much I deny it, I depend on my parent’s and need them there for me to teach me valuable lessons for growth. I have started to stay calm and mature with the ways I react to situations and surprisingly calmed my parents down in arguments as well. I am now able to recognize how common emotions are and the importance of emotional awareness.
To sum up my life story essay for students, I finally changed my outlook on life when I began to not care about what others say about me and stay on my own path. While writing this essay, I realized how cool it is to reflect on my life, views and experiences in this way. So I recommend you to write the story of your life essay!
