The Change I Want To Make
Change. This word must sound simple, but it is very powerful. Change is an act or process that makes something different.
We all want a change in our lives, whether it be about ourselves, about our society or about other people's mindset. We do want to change things. But the question remains, why doesn't it happen? It's because we don't try. We all have the ability to bring a change. Many do and many don't. Because those who don't, they don't try. But we can't change some certain things. For example, changing the past, we can't do it. But changing the mindset of people is possible to an extent. Changing the mindset of the people means to change their way of thinking. The perspective of racial, religious and national discrimination that has been proposed to some of them since their birth, this perspective brings out the worst in them.
This mindset of people causes cyber wars, bullies and hatred towards the whole race and religion, and people start hating on each other for no reason.
A religion, nation or race is never wrong, their followers are wrong, but if we take it in another way, their mindset is wrong.
Sometimes, even when we are living in the same country, we are not united. We start irrelevant fights, bring false facts in between, try to prove ourselves superior, and this is extremely wrong because no one is superior or inferior to anyone. This mindset causes hatred in our hearts, and this hatred stops us from many things, for example, we are so indulged in hating and bashing one another that we don't notice the third person taking advantage of it, we don't progress or develop, and those who are free from this mindset, they progress and surpass us, and when the realization dawns upon us, it has already been late. In the race of trying to surpass the neutral one, we work harder than before, but that doesn't change the fact that we are not going to reach their level because when we were busy in discriminating one another, we missed the chance of being successful.
Coming up to the point, I believe that my point is clear that the change I'm desperately looking for in this world is the change of our mindset. Each and every individual has a purpose of life, we all were sent in this world for a purpose, for a goal, for a change, and my purpose is to bring a change in this world, in where no one discriminates any other person. This is my purpose, this is my wish, and this is the change that I want to make. We all are human beings, we all are the same, no one is superior, no one is inferior, no religion is wrong, no nation is wrong, no race is wrong, the followers' mindsets are. And for this mindset, our elders play a highly important role.
If a teacher teaches us to develop friendly ties with other nation's members, our behavior can change their mindset. I believe that kindness is the most powerful weapon, that can only bring benefits by changing the mindset of those people who are indulged in national, religious and racial discrimination.
Everyone in this world wants to have a peaceful life, and in order to achieve it we have to have a clear heart with no hatred for any individual or group of people. We want a peaceful world but we don't try enough to achieve it.
The peace of this world depends upon the mindset behind the actions of people and we need to change it while we can. The change can be brought by the change in ourselves first. We need to change our mindset and our behavior so that it influences others and brings a change in them. The change in them will change the whole world. In simple words, the change in us brings a change in others, and the change in others brings a change in the world and a positive change in the world makes our lives peaceful.
In my perspective, we cannot change others until and unless we bring a change in our own selves.
